The Difference Between "Being a Barcode" and Owning One

Facebook has treated us as mere products for years and years now and seems that authorities don't have much on this one. The blue pill sells our data with no shame at all and has proven to not give a fuck about advocates of internet privacy and institutions taking it to court for this matter.

I don't know how much you're paying attention to where society is being pushed lately, thanks to a man made pandemic, but we're gradually turning into "barcoded products". We're probably less than that in the eyes of the elites...

I remember when first read of humans getting at some point microchipped and how most of the fundamental freedoms shall be lost at that point, as one that is easier trackable than a dog is no longer a human being, that I was degusted by the idea and at the same time didn't had the understanding to put everything into perspective.

It's the same "technological progress" that takes us into VR and AR that's closing the fence around us. I don't know how this "green pass policy" works in your country, but in here you have to have that green pass, which is actually a proof of vaccination, to access malls, gyms and even mayor houses.

You basically have to have a QR and get that scanned to have access to certain locations. Even dogs have slightly more freedom than we have now. Many are overlooking this warning bell and believe that "it's all temporary", until the virus will magically disappear. It's two fucking years and we're still there, we're even more entangled than we used to be two years ago.

Barcodes...

Your Bitcoin wallet can act as a barcode/QR that can get scanned as well and with that you can conduct all sort of transactions PRIVATELY. No one knows that address X sending funds to address Y belongs to person Z and respectively person Q. It's all on the blockchain, but there's no identity tied to anything... conducted on the blockchain.

A Bitcoin wallet, or any other decentralized blockchain wallet, is probably the ultimate form of ownership we can have. If you store your keys safely, there's no way anyone can ever seize or take ownership over your funds/property. NOBODY.

We can't say the same about fiat money, personal internet data, properties, cars and even our fundamental rights. We seem to be gradually fulfilling Schwab's diabolical narrative of "owning nothing and being happy", fundamental freedoms are also included in the "not owning anything basket".

“One more area that I hope nation-states start paying greater attention to is the rise of cryptocurrency — because what looks like a very interesting and somewhat exotic effort to literally mine new coins in order to trade with them has the potential for undermining currencies, the role of the dollar as the reserve currency, for destabilizing nations, perhaps starting with small ones but going much larger.” -Hillary Clinton

You see, they're threatened by crypto because by owning crypto you own everything and it's the total opposite of the elites are trying to achieve. It's threatening how society is gradually slipping into a totally controlled abys and proof of this slippage is us becoming bar codes. When you no longer matter for a merchant or an institution before proving that "you are a QR code", you should be thinking seriously where the world is heading and probably buy more crypto.

Billions around the world should be thinking seriously on Hive before continuing to dedicate their time, privacy and personal data to companies such as Facebook and Google. Hope you all have a great Monday and week ahead and see you to the next post.

Thanks for attention, Adrian
