Today was the day that the packs bought during the first pre-sale of the Chaos Legend editions could be opened. Not only that but also it is possible again to purchase packs again and the day of the first airdrop!

I did purchase 12 pack during the pre-sale phase 1. All were bougth with SPS, which is airdropped to you on a daily basis, combined with 12 vouchers, which were also airdropped. I could have sold the voucher which were worth around $180. But decided to use some for the purchase of packs. With a cost of $4 per pack, these 12 packs did cost me in total around $228. Money which was for free.

Airdrop

Let's start with the airdrop. To be honest I didn't expect any cards from the airdrop. I only did purchase 12 packs and there is a 2% of getting such an airdrop card per pack purchased. So in fact I did have around 24% chance of getting such a card.

The card in question is: Doctor Blight!

But I was lucky and did receive one. Due to the fact that I not planning of buying these cards, there is no possibility to upgrade it. So I decided to put it on sale for $150. And it was quickly sold. So I did net $142 for it. Not too bad!

So after this sale, my investment did drop to $86.

The opening of the packs!

Luckily I do have lot of potions. Per opening 2 potions are used, one to increase the chance on a legendary card, the other one to increase the chance of getting a golden foil!

The opening of the first pack was immediately spot on!

The second chest I did open, did contain a golden foil rare card. Good for $22. When I did open it, the value was $44, but prices are dropping fast!

The opening of my third pack was even better!

This one did contain a Golden common card but also a Legendary. The combined value of this pack is $36. Not to bad I guess.

Pack 5 was another great pack!

Another golden foil. Yeah, worth $17. It is adding up nicely.

Too bad, the other 7 packs were just normal rewards. But it all added up towards $152. So overall a virtual profit of $66. Just the way I like it.

Not only that but the combined burn value is 2365 DEC, which means a small extra boost for the daily SPS airdrop!

I also forgot how much fun it was to open packs. Not I do have to control myself and when until the sale of the Chaos Legend packs will go into public sale. Each pack now would cost around 12 virtual $. $4 for the pack and a voucher which is needed to purchase cards does cost around $8.

Cheers, Peter
