Splinterlands - Chaos Legion Cards Up For Sale!!!
Around ten minutes ago the official launch of Chaos Legions has begun and already on Peakmonsters.com I can see cards in the series being listed on the market. At the initial prices it appears to be extremely expensive as common cards are asked at $3 but I do expect it to fall as more packs get open and more players decide to sell cards they feel not wanting.
Meanwhile the in game currency DEC has been in a free fall in the day leading up to the Chaos grand opening.
It will be important to watch moving forward as more cards come out for sale if there will be further drop as DEC is on of two only currency accepted for purchasing individual cards in most sites. There is opportunity to purchase the cards in other forms of crypto such as BSC, ETH, and WAX however it may take a little longer for users to move the cards to Opensea or Atomichub. For now DEC and Credits are the primary sources of currency that can be used to purchase cards. Note credits are only accepted to purchase booster packs from here on an
d this next 2 million packs will require vouchers to purchase. Vouchers are distributed in 66,666 a day at 1:00am EST and will continue to do so until 2 million vouchers is distributed. From there 20,000 vouchers distributed indefinitely. To earn vouchers players have to stake SPS and the amount of vouchers they earn depends on how much SPS they have staked relative to the overall staked amount.
First Card Sales of Chaos
From peakmonsters's explorer we can see constant packs being opened and above some snapshots of certain Chaos cards being sold. Plenty of trading going on and in time there will be a bigger supply of Chaos cards on the market. The question then is will there be too much demand making the card prices well exceed what many could afford?
Summoners are going to be a focal point here and currently there are six new summoners in the Chaos with more to come as the series continues to sell. Exciting times ahead. Well done Splinterlands, well done.
