I've been going hard at play to earn for the past few months and decided to invest in a couple more games. I will make posts about every single one after I have some time to collect more data and fully understand the game.

I've started playing the game 47 days ago with an initial investment of $145. To date, I already cashed out $564 without selling any of my NFT's, only the tokens they farmed for me.

That's a profit of $419 in 47 days.

I'm not a genius, I saw that there was a lot of hype around the game and was lucky enough to jump in very early. Also, I try to maximize my returns by playing as much as possible.

In order to play the game, you need to have Metamask installed in your browser.

BCoin Token

Bcoin is a BSC token that can be bought and sold on Pancakeswap. I learned about the game on the 21st of October and decided to throw some money at it. I bought 100 tokens for $1,45 each.

Each hero costs 10 BCoin. I bought 10 of them and started farming right away. Nowadays the entry price is way higher, each hero is going for $62,60 and there is no secondary market to sell them at the moment.

Gameplay

Right now the only available mode is treasure hunt which is very boring. There is no gameplay to it, you just let your heroes plant bombs around the map to destroy the chests and farm BCoin. Each hero has different rarities and stats, a rare hero will destroy the chests way faster than a common one since they have more: Damage, Bombs, speed, and range. It really makes a huge difference to get lucky and pull good heroes.

Each bomb that a specific hero plant expenses one energy. A rare hero with 3 power and 300 energy can output 900 damage while a common hero with 1 power and 100 energy does 100 damage. That's a 9x difference.

The game relies on ponzinomics to keep the price of Bcoin afloat. Once new people stop coming in and more and more people are just farming Bcoin and dumping them on the market the price is will start to plummet.

I don't want to scare you away from the game but that is the current reality and I prefer to be honest up front. The team has plans to fix the tokenomics of Bcoin in the future: give it further utility and add new game modes that can burn some of the supply.

Roadmap

The developers have been struggling a lot with server stability and keeping the game stable. The player base grew beyond expectations and their attention shifted to improving the servers. Never the less they've been delivering some updates here and there.

I see a lot of positive things coming for Bcoin in the future, especially the marketplace, staking, and the story mode. The only question is how fast can the team deliver on those promises.

Final thoughts

There are some problems with the game, the main one being that it is not fun to play at all, everyone's in it for the money.

I seriously hope they can make a good job with the PVP and story mode, I remember playing hours upon hours of Bomberman when I was young and I loved the game so I'm confident I will enjoy the new modes.

The biggest threat to all of these basic play2earn games is the AAA games that will allow you to earn while playing. I'm expecting a lot of players to sell off and migrate from the repetitive and boring games over to the new and exciting games that are being developed by top-tier gaming companies with a lot of hired talent.
