POBSTREET:THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN HIVE AND PROOFOFBRAIN.

Hey Hive Fam, how are you doing? Let me use this opportunity to give a shout out to the proof of brain community, it’s been great being in the community and the optimism towards the Pob and the community. I hope you are still staking your Pob. Well am here to talk about the relationship between Hive and proofofbrain.

If you are a Newbie and you are reading my post and this is the first time you are coming across proof of brain, don’t be scared am going to explain the proof of brain community as easy as I can.

Let’s start by you understanding what the Hive blockchain is The Hive blockchain is something I can call the foundation blockchain also known as the layer 1, that creates the foundation for creation of other communities. Hive is the primary platform with its tokens, the hive token and the HBD(Hive Backed Dollar). When you power your Hive you have Hive power, this Hive power is the influence you have on Hive. This power enables you earn curation rewards when you curate other content, this power gives you resource credit to make post or comments, upvote, transfer and also vote for witness.

But then we have something we can call a secondary layer or layer 2 built on the foundation of layer 1 called the proof of brain. The proof of brain is not the only community built on Hive, we have lots of other communities, like the Leofinance, splintertalk, Neoxian and so on. But our focus here is on proof of brain. Proof of brain is related to Hive in a way that without Hive there can’t be proof of brain. The proof of brain token was created from the Hive blockchain technology. Just as Hive has its own native token the hive token, proof of brain has its own token called the pob token. You can power your Pob token to have pob power just as you can power your Hive token to give you Hive power.

To access the proofofbrain website you can check proofofbrain. The reason I love the proof of brain community is because while other communities have restrictions, Hive doesn’t so does proof of brain. On Hive you can post anything as long as they are originally yours, so is proof of brain. Let me explain. In the Leofinance community you can only post finance related stuff, in the splintertalk community you can only post about splinterland, in the oneup community you can only post about NFTs, but in the proof of brain you can post anything. What do you expect from a community that the rule literally states have a brain. Everything we do requires our brain, but that doesn’t mean you should play with the community’s intelligence and plagiarize. The community will come for you, so use your brain and write original post, don’t forget to source things that aren’t yours also.

The pob token is valuable and can be swapped to Hive. Currently you can swap your POB token for VYB, a project created to support Pob.
