The announcement of the Leofinance application has been good news to most of the Leofinance users because it will allow posting finance-related posts on the go with a better user experience. I downloaded the app immediately after I saw the introduction post. But I had issues with my account on Hive signer and I could not log in for a while. I gave it more time today; I revoked my account and fixed the entire issue and could log in.

The app is currently in the early stage, but the work done so far looks cool. The app is already usable for curation and other basic functionalities. The part I love is the Mode and theme section. There are 16 theme options for the users to select, plus day and night mode which make it friendly for the eyes at all times.

There are two tabs on the home section of the application. The first one is ‘Curated’ and the second is “My Feed”. Just like other interfaces on the hive chain. The “My Feed” shows the posts from your friends and the people you follow, and the “curated” tab shows the posts curated by Leo curators.

And the feed has two view options. The first shows the image of a post bigger, and the second float it to the right side with a little margin.

On the first launch, the profile/blogs section worked perfectly, but it later failed in fetching the data. I think these are just basic bugs that would be solved within a short period.

The settings also have some nice components that are not available on some mobile applications on the Hive chain. I have not used many, but the Double Tap Upvote and Font size seem like a good inclusion.

The notification bar also works properly. I can see all my notifications there.

Thought

@khaleelkazi and his team have been producing amazing, and quality works on the hive blockchain. The app is usable despite it is still in the early phase and the next release will surely be great.

Lastly, I had issues posting through the app. It says uploading media files for over an hour.

Kudos to the team!
