October is here, the month of witches, the month when you see movies about ghosts, villains and certainly witches such as Hocus Pocus, known in Latin America as Abracadabra, so it is the perfect opportunity to give free rein to all those beliefs and I come here to participate in the latest initiative of Zona de escalofríos.
So, without further ado, I'll leave the answers to the second option here
1. Which iconic Halloween character is your favorite and why?
To talk about Halloween is to talk about many characters, among which the following stand out for their movies: Jason Voorhees, Freddy Krueger, Pinhead, Chucky, Leatherface, Michael Myers, GhostFace, among others. But the truth is that I lean more towards the classic, characters like Morticia Adams, Merlina or witches like the Sanderson sisters, maybe Ichabod Crane.
The reason I prefer these characters is that I see this celebration more as something mystical rather than terrifying.
2. Are there any stories or legends involving Halloween that stand out to you? It can be fictional or real events.
I have heard of things that usually happen on these dates, I do not know how true they may be, but we always have doubts, especially because being a celebration in which there are many parties and excesses, it lends itself to everything, for example I have heard of people being seduced by women or charming men, and after a night of passion they wake up with a scar and realize that they have lost a kidney or have been infected with a disease such as AIDS. Although we know that this can and does happen even outside of these dates.
On the other hand, since I am involved with animal rescue, it is recommended not to give black cats for adoption on this date, as they are very much sought after for evil rites.
3. Did you have any frightening experience or do you know anyone who has lived a terrifying Halloween night?
When I was a 4 year old girl I traveled to the USA with my mother who wanted to take me to Sea World and Disneyland, we arrived in the USA a few days before Halloween and the friend who received us emphasized to my mother not to let me go out trick-or-treating, since the year before terrible things had happened such as leaves inside apples or candies with substances.
4. If you had the opportunity to transform yourself into a Halloween villain, who would it be and why? (Werewolf, witch, evil clown).
I like the classic characters as I already mentioned I would love to be a sexy and reckless vampire like Selene from Underworld or a powerful but beautiful witch, a vampire to see what it feels like to have some of the gifts they are given in some movies or to be able to fly like a bat, as for being a witch it would be great to cast some spells in the company of my kitties.
In short, Halloween is a date that lends itself to much, such as decorating and parties, but I think we should still be vigilant because there are never lacking ill-intentioned people, I take these last lines to thank @Cirangela for the invitation and in turn I take this opportunity to invite my friends @germanandradeg and @cielitorojo to participate.
Llego Octubre el mes de las brujas, el mes en el que se ven películas de fantasmas, villanos y sin duda las de brujas como por ejemplo Hocus Pocus, conocida en Latinoamérica como Abracadabra, así que es la oportunidad perfecta para dar rienda suelta a todas esas creencias y vengo por acá a participar en la mas reciente iniciativa de Zona de escalofríos.
Así que, sin más preámbulos, dejaré por acá las respuestas planteadas en la segunda opción
1. ¿Qué personaje icónico de Halloween es tu favorito y por qué?
Hablar de Halloween es hablar de muchos personajes, entre los que destacan los siguientes por sus películas: Jason Voorhees, Freddy Krueger, Pinhead, Chucky, Leatherface, Michael Myers, GhostFace, entre otros. Pero la verdad es que yo me inclino más por lo clásico, por personajes como Morticia Adams, Merlina o brujas como las hermanas Sanderson, tal vez Ichabod Crane.
La razón por la que prefiero estos personajes es que veo esta celebración más como algo místico en lugar de terrorífico.
2. ¿Hay alguna historia o leyenda que involucre a la noche de Halloween que te llame la atención? Puede ser ficticia o hechos reales.
He escuchado de cosas que suelen ocurrir en estas fechas no se fue tan ciertas puedan ser, pero siempre nos quedan las dudas, sobre todo porque al ser una celebración en la que hay muchas fiestas y excesos, se presta para todo, por ejemplo he escuchado de personas ser seducidos por mujeres o hombres encantadores, y tras una noche de pasión despiertan con una cicatriz y se percatan de que han perdido un riñón o de que han sido contagiados de alguna enfermedad como por ejemplo SIDA. Aunque sabemos que esto puede ocurrir y ocurre aún fuera de estas fechas.
Por otro lado, desde que estoy relacionada con el rescate de animales, se recomienda no dar en adopción gatos negros en esta fecha, ya que les buscan mucho para ritos malvados.
3. ¿Tuviste alguna experiencia aterradora o conoces a alguien que haya vivido una noche de Halloween terrorífica?
Cuando era una niña de 4 años viaje a EE. UU. con mi madre que quería llevarme a Sea World y Disneyland, llegamos a territorio estadounidense unos días antes de Halloween y la amiga que nos recibió le hizo énfasis a mi madre en que no me dejara salir a pedir dulces, ya que el año anterior habían ocurrido cosas terribles como hojillas dentro de las manzanas o dulces con sustancias.
4. Si tuvieras la oportunidad de transformarte en un villano de Halloween, ¿quién sería y por qué? (Hombre lobo, bruja, payaso diabólico).
Me gustan los personajes clásicos como ya mencioné me encantaría ser una vampira sexy y temeraria como Selene la de Inframundo o una bruja poderosa, pero hermosa, una vampira para ver que se siente tener algunos de los dones que les otorgan en algunas películas o poder volar como un murciélago, en cuanto a ser una bruja seria genial hacer algunos hechizos en compañía de mis mininos.
En resumen, Halloween es una fecha que se presta para mucho, como adornar y fiestas, pero creo que igual debemos estar atentos porque nunca faltan personas mal intencionadas, aprovecho estas últimas líneas para dar las gracias a @Cirangela por la invitación y a su vez aprovecho para invitar a participar a mis amigos @germanandradeg y @cielitorojo
