Hello everyone, yesterday we made our bonding, today my son has to check in on the hospital again for another operation on his leg tomorrow morning, we have to make him and his sibling have bonding, and also to prepare him. My husband takes the kids to the pool, and I head to the gym. It’s my time to move, sweat, and feel good. If I skip a few days of working out, I feel tired and low. But when I exercise, I feel strong and full of energy. It clears my head, and I come back feeling like myself again. After the gym, I meet my family at the pool. I don’t swim this time. I just sat on a chair, breathed in the fresh air, and watched them play. The kids laugh, splash, and race around. My husband joins in, too. It makes me so happy to watch them. Just sitting there, doing nothing, feels like a gift.

When swimming is done, my husband orders some pizza. It’s a little family tradition now. We eat together, and everyone’s hungry and smiling. There’s something so comforting about swimming, then eating something warm and tasty pizza. The kids are always calm and happy afterward. They enjoyed pizza all the time, and after our dinner, they watched a little TV and just relaxed. It’s quiet and cozy, and we all start to slow down. After an hour, it's bedtime, but not right away. First, it’s story time. Even though my daughters are 16 and 10, they still love listening to bedtime stories. They each have their room, but every night, they come together just for this. My younger one doesn’t say much, but she always listens with big, bright eyes. I can tell she enjoys it, and she also talks so much even we hardly understand her words.
Some nights I tell one story, and some nights we end up telling five. We sit close on the bed, the room soft and quiet, and I share stories, some from when I was a kid, some I make up on the spot, and some they’ve heard again and again, they will complain that I already tell that story before, lucky the daddy is in the rescue of me, he’s turn to tell the story. They are so happy and full of joy on their face. These memories we can give them until they grow up, that's what matters is being together, and close to each other until they grow old.
Sometimes they also tell a story, and have some jokes, and we laugh. But when my husband told me my turn again to tell the story, it became my story are soft and gentle, like a lullaby. And when I start slowly, they start to drift off. Their eyes close, and I hear their breathing slow down. One by one, they fall asleep. I give them each a kiss, tiptoe out, and feel so full inside, like my heart is glowing. And I asked my two daughters to move to their room and get a good, tight sleep. Our day yesterday wasn’t fancy. We don’t do anything big or special. But they mean everything to me. These simple moments, the pool, the pizza, the bedtime stories, make our days feel full of love. I hope my kids remember these moments when they’re older. Not just the stories, but the feeling of being safe, close, and happy. These simple days are the ones I treasure most. And this particular moment, we went through a bit hard due to my son's leg operation, so we want to let them handle this moment a little more easily.
