Hello y'all, this is @aowilson and am here to tell y'all about my day. So first of all I want to say that I am a corps member serving in Adamawa State, Nigeria. They took me 12 hours journey away from my family but then I met a family here in Jada, Adamawa State.
So I woke up this morning being the day slated for my clearance. As you can see, I am fully knitted ready to go for my clearance.
Some other people too are already getting ready for the clearance so I have to wait.
While waiting, I decided to stroll to my PPA- place of primary assignmennt, it's just a stone throw from my house. I went to collect my clearance form from my employer to present it to the local government.
These are students from my school, beautiful and wonderful children.
So after that, we boarded a tricycle to the local government. We were charged 200 naira each for the ride
We stopped by to plug our power bank due to inconsistent power supply. My friends now withdrew some money that they would use for transport.
I arrived the local government, I came late but then nothing has really started. I think today African time has gotten hold of us.
You can see the business minded people selling their market around.
Corp members are so excited because Federal government paid us our allowance last night, we call it allowee.
We are just sitting waiting for the ZI to come and address us.
After clearance, I was going home and met some students going home too from.school.
I got home and decided to go to the market to get some food stuffs, at the market, rain fell and held me there
Hope you enjoyed the walk with me?
Peace out ✌️🫴
