Hi, I am Arveno from Surabaya city. in this content i want to share about the delicious non halal food that i eat today. I am catholic so i am okay if eating any pork cuisine. So i knew this food depot from my friend that offer me a long time ago. Maybe around 2 years or 3 years back. And after eating this i never going to this place again. Not intentionally or feeling not good. But, just forgotten. And yeah since i am on Surabaya city that very rare to go home. So, yeah i never eating in this place again.
But, today is the last day i live in my hometown. Tomorrow i need going back to my home in Surabaya city and the routine will come back. And i think today i will spend last day with the fullest for eating before going back to routine and starting workout again and kinda eating good diet again. So, at morning me and my wife going back to eating meatball without rice of course and i dont take any picture while eating meatballs since i already sharing to u guys. Then my wife need to solve something on Bank and i accompany her to bank and we waiting until afternoon and passing lunch time. Of course waiting the customer service solving the problem and we are just waiting with hunger is kinda boring and makes me mad. Especially i dont know why, but in my home town the internet feels so slow. The pace itself is really slow. I feel that people feel lazy to do anything. Thats really different when i am living in the big city. Everything going so fast until i think i need more time in a day in big city.
Then after this bank problem done, of course my wife asking to eat too. ANd at first i dont know what to eat. But, at least i know where to go and just looking place in food depot in luxury house area. After circle around that area, i feel not mood eating in luxury place. It feels not worth and just wasting our money in there. Then we are going down back to my parents house or at least we will eating noodles that we usually eat.
And then accidentally i seen the place that my friend recomended when we want eating pork. This place kinda like home restaurant. Just having 3 dining table for dine in and serve online orders. Maybe this home restaurant get many orders from online orders i guess since this place is kinda quiet and dont have any customer when we got there. So, i asked my wife if she want to eat there or not. I telling him that this food taste is not too bad but not too good either from what i remember. But, yeah turns out that i am really forgot how its tasted.
This home restaurant kinda simple, they dont gives any menu, we can see in the wall what we want. They served the picture and what we got and also the price too.
For this price this food is not too expensive for me. Yeah cheaper than in Surabaya city. But, lets see it is worth for the taste or not.
So, me and my wife ordered Nasi Goreng Campur. Basically this is just fried rice and we requesting not using any chili at all. And then we got 1 pork skewer, soy sauce pork, lapchiong ( like sweet pork sausages), sweet noodles and sunny side up egg. This meal costing more than 3$. But yeah still cheaper than in my town that cost more than 5$ each plate with maybe less portion from this picture.
Okay, first of all after the food came, i just said to my wife, this portion is too large for me. This rice is enough for 2 people. I think next i will bring my son to eat there. So we just ordered 2 plate and the half of mine and half of my wife plate for my son. And it will be enough for the 3 of us. But, overall the taste is really good. Juicy,oily,tender,sweet and salty. But, if it can be less oily. I think it would be perfect. And yeah the portion too. It too much for me. But, since i paid for this food, so will not complain about the portion.
I dont have any picture with this place because i really enjoying this food much. And after eating while waiting the food digested a little bit, i just talking with my wife and then we are going home.
This is the best. Maybe next time i will bring my mom and my dad going there to eat some pork.
