A movie that according to the cover insinuates to be a romantic production but also erotic with hot scenes. Well, that is not so, the truth is that it is quite insipid and I finished watching it because I had already started it, although by the rhythm and the development of the scenes I already knew where I was going. I think I unloaded against it from the first paragraph and I should have left my opinion for the end of the publication, but it was super impossible for me not to say that it is not what it seems or is not what it is offering at first glance. I’m still going to tell you what it’s about and the rest of my opinions.

Una película que según la portada insinúa ser una producción romántica pero también erótica con escenas candentes. Bueno, eso no es así, la verdad es que es bastante insípida y terminé de verla por ya la había empezado, aunque por el ritmo y el desarrollo de las escenas ya sabia por donde iba. Creo que me descargué en contra de ella desde el primer párrafo y debí dejar mi opinión para el final de la publicación, pero es que se me hizo súper imposible no decir que no es lo que parece o no es lo que a simple vista está ofreciendo. Aún así te voy a contar de que se trata y el resto de mis opiniones.
Shaw (Sydney Taylor) is best friends with Rome (Alexander Ludwig), friends who have grown up together and she is very much loved in his home. Rule (Chase Stokes) is Rome’s brother so he has always seen Shaw as a child and one of the family, but Shaw has spent a lifetime in love with Rule since the first day she saw him. Rule is a tattoo artist and a complicated person, with a trauma that was born after his twin brother died in a car accident and she is kind, a student and with a mother who wants her to get herself a rich husband like the ones she’s had.
In a night of drinks, Shaw is uninhibits and decides to throw herself into Rule’s arms, while he tries to avoid the encounter and everything seems very strange, it was a funny and awkward scene in which more than an act where the desire of both parties was seen it seemed that Rule was seduced to the point where he could not say no and what Shaw wanted happened. Suddenly the next day he realized that he had also been in love with Shaw and now he couldn’t stop thinking about her.
Shaw (Sydney Taylor) es la mejor amiga de Rome (Alexander Ludwig), amigos que se han criado juntos y ella es muy querida en casa de él. Rule (Chase Stokes) es hermano de Rome por lo que siempre ha visto a Shaw como una niña y una más de la familia, pero Shaw ha pasado toda la vida enamorada de Rule desde el primer día que lo vio. Rule es un artista del tatuaje y una persona complicada, con un trauma que nació luego de que su hermano gemelo muriera en un accidente de tránsito y ella es amable, estudiante y con una madre que quiere que se consiga un marido rico como los que ella si ha tenido.
En una noche de tragos, Shaw se desinhibe y decide lanzarse a los brazos de Rule, mientras él trata de evitar el encuentro y todo parece muy extraño, fue una escena graciosa e incomoda en la que más que un acto donde se vieran las ganas de las dos partes parecía que Rule fue seducido hasta el punto en el que no pudo decir que no y sucedió lo que Shaw quería. De repente al día siguiente se dió cuenta que también había estado enamorado de Shaw y ahora no podía dejar de pensar en ella.
The movie seems like a teen movie even though none of the characters are of teen age, so I found the format and development to be very cloying. In the first scenes it didn’t even seem like Rule had a bad thought about Shaw and suddenly he couldn’t stop thinking about her and overnight he changed his ways and the relationship that wasn’t going to be a relationship turned into a romance mishmash, in which later something happens that causes a separation and the main characters feel unhappy to be separated but also think it’s the best for the other person and starts doing crazy things that disillusion the other, until they come to their senses and come back; this is something very common in this kind of movies, nothing new, very trite and immature.
In the end I saw a movie that did not meet my expectations in any way, I thought I would see something more intense and it has nothing like that, the romantic part was also quite bland, I really did not like it, it is not that I had high expectations and I was expecting a lot, but it will be a movie that I will forget next week and obviously I will not see again.
Lo película parece una película para adolescentes aún cuando ninguno de los personajes tiene edad de adolescente, así que me pareció que el formato y el desarrollo fue muy empalagoso. En las primeras escenas ni siquiera parecía que Rule tuviera un mal pensamiento sobre Shaw y de repente no podía dejar de pensar en ella y de la noche a la mañana cambió su manera de ser y la relación que no iba a ser una relación se convirtió en un pegoste de romance, en la que posteriormente ocurre algo que ocasiona una separación y los protagonistas se sienten desdichados por estar separados pero también piensan que es lo mejor para la otra persona y empieza a hacer locuras que desilusionan al otro, hasta que entran en razón y vuelven; esto es algo muy común en este tipo de películas, nada nuevo, muy trillado e inmaduro.
Al final vi una película que no cumplió con mis expectativas en ningún sentido, pensaba ver algo más intenso y no tiene nada de eso, la parte romántica también fue bastante insulsa, de verdad no me gustó, no es que haya tenido las expectativas altas y haya estado esperando mucho, pero será una película que olvide la semana que viene y que obviamente no volveré a ver.
