Welcome to episode 182 of my weekly Splinterlands 101 video podcast, with fellow @hiveaustralia members, and co-hosts of the show, @mattclarke and @giotrix

This week we kick off with the usual catch up banter,

I discuss how I've been more proactive with my land since the episode we had with @azircon and how I've swapped out a couple of low PP cards for better cards.

I guess when I first put my land together, one of my plots had some low PP cards trying to keep the staked DEC low as I was running out of both high PP cards and DEC by time I got to my fifth plot.

My Lvl 3 Runemancer Kye had a PP of 818.18, so swapping him out for my maxed Goblin Mech, with a PP of 5,000, gave me an additional 4,181.82 PP.

My lvl 1 Gold Dragon had a PP of only 681.82, so swapping him out for my maxed GF Gargoya Lion, with a PP of 2,000, gave me an additional 1,318.18 PP.

Swapping out Kye for the Mech required an extra 9,000 staked DEC, and swapping out the Gold Dragon for the Gargoya Lion required an additional 9,090 staked DEC. In addition, because I use the Gargoya Lion a lot, I purchased a maxed regular foil version to play with.

I also use the Goblin Mech a lot too, so that was a tough decision to make, but 5,000 PP was hard to say no to 🤡

Additionaly, I have another dilemma in that I have a maxed Beta Alric that has 5,500 PP that I could swap in with a lesser card, but I really use Alric a lot and that +1 magic is hard to let go of for battling with.

What are your thoughts on this?

and since this is the first episode since the last EOS, I spend about 3.6k Glint in the store on epic and legendary cards.

Then it's onto the battling, and there's plenty of battles in this episode 🤠
