Today’s walk was one of those “pause and breathe” kind of breaks. Just 5 kilometers along a serene canal during my lunch hour—but when the sun’s on your skin and the world is bursting green, it feels like you’ve wandered into a different dimension.
The real scene-stealer? A vibrant yellow iris waving from the water’s edge like it was hired to model for the day. I got low, played with angles, and let the camera drink it in. There’s something humbling about capturing a flower that’s already perfect without your help.
After that slice of nature, the rest of the day danced between deep work, pulling weeds, and chasing family laughter. Bonus steps in the garden added another 3km—because why not let your backyard be your second trail?
Stay tuned—more flower portraits are blooming their way to the feed.
