Few weeks ago, when i and other Uyo Hivers went to Future model school's to organize a workshop, it's pretty sure that @bebiyoung wasn't in school that day. When i asked, i was told she's not school due to her poor health. I felt bad because she's my wards teacher. When i later visited the school for my wards school fee's. While i was going, she ran to me and said, Ma, i heard you and your team came here for presentations. Sure i replied and she said, what's it all about? I told her it's all about Hive blockchain and SpendHBD community. Theirs a project going on Hive blockchain we are promoting. Which is shop to earn. She said, Ma, please am very much interested. We will talk about it later let me get to my duties. So, i left while she goes back to her class.
She later chatted me up to know more about Hive and we booked an appointment for her to meet with me in the office. When she came, she met @ijelady in the office who told her what Hive is all about. When i finally arrived, i did the following's.
-
Create her Hive account
-
Help her set up her profile picture
-
Show her how subscribe to community of her choice by using explore community options.
-
Showed her samples of people's introduction post as a guide for her to know the first thing to do first after that, i told her that being a teacher doesn't make her perfect on the blockchain. She should ask questions, attend trainings and workshops ao that she can learn how to make quality post, how to engage with other people's people's, etc.She asked if she can write her introduction post immediately and i asked her to go ahead. As we speak, she has written both her introduction post and her training experience. Engage in her introduction post here
Three others joined the training.
Already, we have lots of newbies who are calling and coming for mentoring. While i was with @ bebiyoung, more three persons walked in. And i fired on. After attending to them, they left while i continued with bebiyoung who finally completed her post. I showed her where to put her tags and the right tags to use. So, we stepped outside to take a shot.
She asked if she can use her training for post which i said yes. Next day, she asked how she can make the post and, i told her to put all we discussed into writings. Those things you learned during my trainings, share it with hive blochain and, she did just so. Am happy to be part of this ongoing project. Onboarding and mentoring newbies to join Hive blockchain, SpendHBD community and it's projected. I also showed her little kindness by taking her to a merchant store to bu eggs for her. She watched me make the payments using HBD. She left with full satisfaction that, she was on the right place.
