I have been enjoying Sorare.com these past years mainly playing in the Rare competitions. Each Week, I'm making an update post on what's happening in the ecosystem and how I'm doing personally.
It was an ok week in sorare including a 423 Point score in rare Under 23 wich landed me in 10th place out of 1165 entrants but in the end only yielded a Tier 3 Reward Card which I will try to sell but where I fear not to get more that 5$ for it. The main issue of sorare is that assets don't hold any value and it continued to be a race to the bottom. What they could do is set some requirements of cards held of a certain competition to be able to enter a lineup with them going up exponentially for each extra lineup and also set a requirement for certain combined average score of those players.
Playoffs Rare Results
Basically the system is still broken as a 423 point squad in League 3 gave a Tier 3 card while if I would have this lineup in Tier 2 it would not even have given a Tier 5 card. It makes no sense that you want to be in the lower leagues for higher rewards.

Player Transfers & Reward Card
The 2 cards that I won were some Japanese player named Yuto Ozeki which I put for sale 25% under the lowest price
and at almost half the price Sorare is auctioning it off but even at that price I'm not expecting it to sell. Hopefully I will get an offer and I will likely just accept it just to get something. The limited card is Sergio Akieme who plays in France for Reims but he is without value on the market below 1$ despite the solid scores at times recently.
It's fairly easy to track your personal earnings on the Sobase.Football website. We seem to be at a point again where the rewards don't fully compensate for the drop in card values over time as more get printed and dumped on the market.
I am no longer putting outside funds into Sorare at this point and will track my total account value from here on out weekly. It's been pretty much a race to the bottom as sorare isn't able to come up with dynamics where card prices hold their value.

ConclusionThe enjoyment that I'm getting from Sorare surely has gone down a lot as they fail to fix some of the core issues. If I win something or manage to break even I'm already a happy player. Given the continued inflation, this is a game and not an investment.
