Who's that Holo?
With the recent release of the new Holomon called M1U, I guess it's about time to design a merch for this cuuuutieee mon 🐱.
A while ago, I felt so inspired that I booted my Canva and started testing the options for M1U's design layout. I think that the artwork is spot-on so it's not so difficult to fit it out on a t-shirt design. There are plenty of options for M1U's character because it's "rounded" in shape. With all the options that I thought of making, I realized that the best one could be to follow its shape as well.
So, I arranged all the elements in a circular pattern to emphasize M1U at the center of it.
And then I added the lightning effects because it goes well with M1U's attitude who is a little grumpy 😅.
I made two versions of the same design, the dark and light versions. Choosing between the two isn't the easiest because I prefer both versions. I have a brief explanation of the process of making this t-shirt print design.
Brief Steps of the Creation Process
Step 1: Dark background on a blank page.
Step 2: Add the main character & remove the background.
Step 3: Add Holomon name and curve it.
Step 4: Add shadow and lightning effect on M1u.
Step 5: Add the extra cool stuff.
Finally, we reached the mock-up!
