Hello, friends especially foodies!

I never told you about the area where I live, and now I would like to share a bit of it. I live in an area called Chinatown, it had a large statue gate which made of stone.

Many people come to this area when they are looking for Chinese medicine, Chinese food, Chinese decoration and sort of. So lucky to live near there because we could find all we needed in one place, nearby.

And one of the food court that is the most popular there named “Petak Enam” which named after the street where it is located. Here was how it looked from the outside.

Like you could see even at its’ front, many hawkers food sellers there.

Always interesting and full of customers, we entered the food court.

Inside, there were many customers there before us. You could see it had large fans on the ceiling, many Chinese decorations there like you could see lanterns and trees. Blush of red eye catching there. The area was semi outdoor so you could see the sunlight.

Here how it looked like from height. I think the place is unique and it doesn’t similar with many food courts. It looked like some houses put in an area.

Well, let me guide you to one of the most favorite foodstall there, Sedap Wangi which specializes in mixed pork rice.

For the menu, they had not many menus there.

For main dishes, they had complete mixed rice, mixed rice, duck rice, pork belly rice, red bbq pork rice, steamed or roasted chicken rice and claypot rice. For their rice you could choose between white rice and Hainan rice, this mean you could change your white rice to Hainan rice without paying extra money.
For ala carte menu, they had roasted duck, steamed chicken, roasted chicken, roasted pork, bbq pork, and honey bbq pork.
For soup menu, they had fish soup, bakut teh (spices pork rib), pepper pork rib (sold out), and pork rib savory veggie.

Eventhough not many, they were tempting. Look at those chicken, duck and pork hung on their glass showing case.

After we ordered, paid then we were waiting for our order to come to our table. I looked around and took some pictures of the dining area. Well it was really full. You could see how popular this place is!

Lucky for us that it didn’t take a long time cause soon we could get our lunch delivered at our table. Here they were

Both of us ordered the same menu, MIXED RICE.

It contained Hainan rice which had savory tasty flavour with many toppings such as pork belly (samcan) – the brown one, it had crispy tasty outside texture with savory flavour, chasio (red bbq) chicken – it had soft texture with sweet flavour and also red bbq pork – it also had soft texture and also had sweet flavour, but the texture od the meat was different between the chicken and pork. It also completed with brown sauce which had sweet flavour and of course chili sauce. I also loved the veggie soup it came with cause it had tasty savory – sour flavour.

Although their mixed rice was tasty but it served in small portion so you won’t get full enough. We even bought ice cream after we had the rice. But I recommend you to try it when you want to have tasty mixed pork rice at Chinatown.
