Hello fellow Asean friends... How was your weekend yesterday? I had a very enjoyable weekend! My husband and I went for a walk to Tangerang city and visited several places. One of the places we visited was Taman Listrik. There was a culinary festival being held there... it was called Kuliner Hijaiyah. Maybe because it is located in front of the grand mosque... that's why it was named Kuliner Hijaiyah.
Honestly... my husband and I didn't know at first that there was a culinary festival at the electric park. I went there because I wanted to visit the Al-A'zhom Grand Mosque which is right next to the electric park. Because the main purpose was to the mosque, so when I got there I visited the mosque first. After finishing praying, the two of you moved to the culinary area. Because of the many types of food sold, we were confused about what to eat. Finally after walking around... we decided to stop at a tent stall called Bu Nok's stall.
Warung Bu Nok sells various kinds of soupy foods such as chicken soto with coconut milk, soto betawi, beef soup and rib soup. Actually I wanted to eat chicken soto without coconut milk, but they only sell chicken soto with coconut milk. My husband ordered that menu... but I chose another menu, rib soup. For the taste, it's quite good even though the price is a bit pricey. I like the texture of the ribs, they are soft. Overall it's quite satisfying, even though it's a tent stall but the service is good.
Although the weather was not good, I enjoyed a mini vacation to the city of Tangerang. Bored with the crowded city of Jakarta, it turns out that it is fun to visit the surrounding cities once in a while. Thank you in advance to my ASEAN friends who took the time to stop by and read my post... See you!
