This is my entry for the #monomad challenge
the old naval base in town here is now a park scattered with historical paraphenalia. it's closeby, wel kept and has a lovely shoreline so i often take walks there. earlier this summer i came upon a collection of old wooden and steel wheels gathered together that were begging for some attention.
i admired the craftmanship that went into making them. the wheels have a lot of prominent detail so many of these shots are close-ups. for a few i took the liberty of placing them in favorable positions, of course i respectfully returned them to where i found them. thanked them for their cooperation and hoped to see them again soon.
