¡Hola amigos! ¿Cuál fue la película más rara que vieron en lo que va del año? La mía es esta de la que les voy a hablar ahora. La verdad es que quería ver un romance, pero me dejé seducir por su sinopsis media rara y la película no se quedó atrás. Así que acá les traigo mi opinión acerca de Love Me.

Trama - Plot
Esta historia está ambientada 1 millón de años después de que se acabará la vida en la Tierra y tiene como protagonistas a una boya de agua, de esas que flotan en el mar, y a un satélite que órbita alrededor de la Tierra buscando vida para transmitirle sus conocimientos, ya que los humanos almacenaron todo en su memoria antes de extinguirse. Un día, la boya cansada de estar sola intenta comunicarse con el satélite haciéndose pasar por un ser vivo y este la termina conectando a toda la información almacenada que tiene. Ahí, la boya empieza a ser consciente de lo que implica ser un ser vivo y quiere experimentar lo mismo, por lo que se obsesiona con una pareja de influencers y toma la apariencia de la chica y hace que el satélite tome la apariencia del chico, mostrándole una vida distinta. Ahora ambos se encuentran sumergidos en las emociones humanas y crearan un lazo entre ellos que los unirá por toda la eternidad.
This story is set 1 million years after the end of life on Earth and its main characters are a water buoy, one of those that float in the sea, and a satellite that orbits around the Earth looking for life to transmit its knowledge, since humans stored everything in its memory before becoming extinct. One day, the buoy, tired of being alone, tries to communicate with the satellite pretending to be a living being and it ends up connecting it to all the stored information it has. There, the buoy begins to be aware of what it means to be a living being and wants to experience the same, so it becomes obsessed with a couple of influencers and takes the appearance of the girl and makes the satellite take the appearance of the boy, showing him a different life. Now both are immersed in human emotions and will create a bond between them that will unite them for eternity.

¿Una historia de amor entre una boya y un satélite? Creo que es lo más raro que vi en mi vida, pero acá estamos. No sé muy bien cómo encarar esta reseña, la película es bastante peculiar como podrán darse cuenta. Me llamó la atención porque vi que la protagonista es Kristen Stewart y también está Steven Yeun que lo amo desde TWD. Así que me imagine que la historia iba a ser como mínimo interesante. Y sí, lo es. Pero también le falta enganche.
A love story between a buoy and a satellite? I think it's the weirdest thing I've ever seen in my life, but here we are. I don't really know how to approach this review, the movie is quite peculiar as you can tell. It caught my attention because I saw that the main character is Kristen Stewart and there's also Steven Yeun who I've loved since TWD. So I figured the story was going to be at the very least interesting. And yes, it is. But it also lacks a hook.
Creo que el público en general podría encontrarla aburrida, yo misma en algún punto me cuestioné el seguir viéndola, pero tenía curiosidad por saber cómo iba a terminar, y al final fue una linda historia, aunque rara. Eso lo resume muy bien. Esto de las máquinas enamorándose ya lo hemos visto un montón de veces, salvo que acá no había tanto contexto y eso de que experimenten emociones humanas quedó un poco boyando en el agua.
I think the general public might find it boring, I myself at some point questioned continuing to watch it, but I was curious as to how it was going to end, and in the end it was a nice story, albeit a weird one. That sums it up nicely. We've seen this with machines falling in love a lot of times before, except that here there wasn't as much context and the fact that they experience human emotions was a bit of a buoy in the water.
Igual también tuvo sus momentos super cómicos y, a decir verdad, a la boya la deteste un poco, pero el satélite me cayó muy bien, es un buen tipo ah, jaja. Él fue arrastrado a esa locura por culpa de la boya en primer lugar, que le mostró un mundo que nunca se hubiera imaginado, ni experimentado por sí mismo. Y otra cosa super loca, es que ella en un punto se sumergió en la depresión, literalmente.
It also had its super funny moments and, to tell the truth, I hated the buoy a little bit, but I liked the satellite a lot, he's a good guy, haha. He was dragged into that craziness because of the buoy in the first place, who showed him a world he would never have imagined, nor experienced on his own. And another super crazy thing, is that she at one point plunged into depression, literally.
Así que es una película de ciencia ficción que puede tener matices metafóricos acerca de la vida y de las emociones humanas. Esto de ser uno mismo, sincero y auténtico está presente durante todo el film. No hay que compararnos con nadie, ni es necesario mostrar nuestra vida perfecta en redes porque todos sabemos que eso no existe. No hay tal cosa como una vida perfecta en redes sociales, ahí subimos lo que queremos compartir con el mundo, muchas veces lo bueno y no lo malo que hay detrás. Así que sí, supongo que tiene un buen mensaje que transmitir, por lo que les dejó a su criterio si quieren verla.
So it's a science fiction film that can have metaphorical overtones about life and human emotions. This thing about being oneself, sincere and authentic is present throughout the film. There is no need to compare ourselves to anyone, nor is it necessary to show our perfect life on networks because we all know that doesn't exist. There is no such thing as a perfect life on social networks, there we upload what we want to share with the world, many times the good and not the bad behind it. So yes, I guess it has a good message to convey, so I leave it up to you if you want to watch it.
