Amo las semanas temáticas del Vibes, pues siento que son inspiradoras y retadoras, y esta sí que me ha retado, el género de música electrónica no es mi zona de confort así que buscando canciones noté que si bien muchas me gustan, no me las sé bien aunque me encante bailar gracias a la felicidad que ese beat puede ofrecer, muchas de ellas tienen letras inspiradoras, llevan mensajes de empoderamiento y hablan de historias fuertes que hacen un llamado de reflexión aunque el ritmo sea bien movido.
Estando a punto de no participar esta semana por no saber qué canción elegir, pero hace unos días vi la entrada de @isbelhiv02 y sentí tan buen rollo, tanta buena energía en su interpretación que entonces empecé a ver esta ronda como una oportunidad para irme de fiesta cantando, y así lo hice. Elegí una canción que me gusta mucho por su ritmo y porque su letra sencilla plasma una verdad contundente: El dinero no da la felicidad, puede dar comodidad y otros beneficios, pero ser feliz, realmente feliz, va mucho más allá de la cantidad de dinero que tengas en tu poder, no depende de las posesiones materiales.
Cheap Thrills es una canción que nos invita a disfrutar de las pequeñas cosas de la vida, que nos mueve, a disfrutar del beat, que siento que también se refiere al latido del corazón, la vida misma a través de nuestro corazón latiendo, disfrutando, agradeciendo por nuestros seres amados.
La vida es sencilla cuando aprendemos a disfrutar de esas pequeñas cosas, que a veces damos por sentadas, esas que siendo pequeñas van sumando gran alegría a nuestra vida. ¿Por algo David venció a Goliat, no? Quizá para mostrarnos que no siempre los gigantes salen triunfantes, que creyendo en nosotros mismos, por más pequeños que podamos llegar a sentirnos, podremos salir victoriosos, porque en realidad las pequeñas cosas de nuestra vida son las más importantes.
Disfruté al máximo cantando este tema, bailé, me divertí como en una fiesta rodeada de gente buena, me acerqué a la canción desde lo más profundo de mi ser, minutos de felicidad llenos de música. También fue muy divertido añadir voces complementarias y grabar la frase I love cheap thrills en algunos momentos de la canción.

I love the Vibes theme weeks, because I feel that they are inspiring and challenging, and this one has challenged me, the electronic music genre is not my comfort zone so looking for songs I noticed that although I like many of them, I don't know them well although I love to dance thanks to the happiness that this beat can offer, many of them have inspiring lyrics, they carry messages of empowerment and speak of strong stories that make a call for reflection even if the rhythm is well moved.
I was about not to participate this week because I didn't know what song to choose, but a few days ago I saw @isbelhiv02's entry and I felt such a good vibe, so much good energy in her performance that then I started to see this round as an opportunity to go party singing, and so I did. I chose a song that I really like because of its rhythm and because its simple lyrics express a strong truth: Money doesn't give happiness, it may give comfort and other benefits, but being happy, really happy, goes far beyond the amount of money you have in your possession, it doesn't depend on material possessions.
Cheap Thrills is a song that invites us to enjoy the little things in life, that moves us, to enjoy the beat, which I feel also refers to the heartbeat, life itself, through our beating heart, enjoying, and thanking our loved ones.
Life is simple when we learn to enjoy those little things that we sometimes take for granted, those that, being small, add great joy to our lives. David defeated Goliath for a reason, right? Maybe to show us that giants do not always triumph, that by believing in ourselves, no matter how small we may feel, we can be victorious, because in reality, the little things in our lives are the most important.
I enjoyed singing this song to the fullest, I danced, I had fun as in a party surrounded by good people, I approached the song from the deepest part of my being, minutes of happiness full of music. It was also a lot of fun to add complementary vocals and record the phrase I love cheap thrills in some moments of the song.
