I woke up pretty late today, but I seem to be on the writing roll. I powered up my hive for #hpud and wrote a bit longer post about it on my main account, I continued with my draft that I had saved months ago and so let this writing roll continue with my Actifit report for yesterday!

Last day of the month turned out to be rather active! That is thanks to my favourite form of activity - dancing 💃

As some of you may know, we don’t have many amazing salsa parties in my local area, so venturing out to London is a must if we want to have good few hours of dancing to the highest standard. That in turn brings a lot of extra steps, as we usually park our cars on the outskirts of London and walk to and from the tube multiple times to get to our destination.

I checked my camera roll for yesterday and weirdly enough I only took 2 pictures of the same, cute little place by the tube station.

My friend pointed it out to me. She said she always looks at it during our travels, as it’s most unusual. Yesterday our usual South Ealing station was closed, so we walked to the next nearest station on the Piccadilly line, which was Acton Town.

That’s where we could take a closer look at this cute garden arrangement, lovingly put together by some who possibly works there and decided to make it their little project and bring joy to the passengers of the tube that pass by here every day.

There is not one store bought pot here. All pots are upcycled from some old material, painted and arranged in the most interesting ways.

I wish I took more pictures of it, but our train arrived pretty fast and most of the waiting time we spent discussing and wondering who put this together, as there doesn’t seem to be a residential building there.

It seemed to be a no picture day yesterday, so I’ll share one older flower picture with you guys, cause otherwise it would be weird, right? 😉

No picture day might mean a lot, but in this case it meant a connection day. I was travelling with my usual London trips buddy - Laleh, as well as our much younger male friend, who decided it was time to get back to social dancing.

‘London is a dancing heaven… when you follow the crowd’ - he concluded our journey on the way back home.

That’s true. Laleh wanted to go to one of our most attended party next weekend, but I told her that not so many of the greatest London dancers are attending this particular one anymore. We still have a great time there, but to experience those high level dances we need to know where crowds go these days and that mid-day social in YMCA that we attended yesterday was one of the hot meeting points these days.

Our young friend just managed to change his working pattern to exclude Saturdays and said to us that after experiencing it first hand yesterday, he will make more effort to come to these midday socials with us more often.

That’s great news, as we had lots of fun traveling together!

Until next walk 💙 This report was published via Actifit app (Android | iOS). Check out the original version here on actifit.io
