Some sunset photographs at lac d'Orient, France

A week ago I had a few days off from work and the kids had a school holiday, so we planned a short holiday of a couple of days. We didn't want to ride too far, but within a 5 hour drive from our home we have already seen a alot of nice places.
So we decided to broaden our search area and we ended up in the Champagne region in France. We found a mobile home on a campsite near lake d'Orient in France. We had a great time there.

One of the best things is that the campsite was just a 5 minute walk from the lake. And the sun set just behind the lake, so I could make a lot of photos from one of my favorite subjects; sunsets.

I actually live close to the sea in The Netherlands, but the 15 minutes by car still (and having a lot of things to do) prevent me from going there a lot to take photographs of sunsets.

But when I was sitting on the veranda of the mobile home I saw the sun sinking towards the lake. I just grabbed my camera and walked over there. And that a couple of days in a row.
