Created Two New Hive Communities

I have two regular posts (weekly) that didn't really fit into any Hive community and I always posted them in a general-purpose community, and have branded them through tags, titles, and cover images. But last week the idea came to me to create special communities for them, with the great benefit of being open to everyone on Hive doing the same type of activity or sharing the same things.

Let's get right to the two new communities I created and more information about each of them.

Hive News

After checking, I was very surprised that we didn't have such a community on Hive. So, I went ahead and created one and published my first Week through Adrian's Lenses Hive (and crypto) weekly news roundup on Friday and will continue to do so every week going forward.

Now, I'd be fine if this community will only be a collection of my Week through Adrian's Lenses posts going forward, but I want it to be more than that.

I'm not the only one publishing this type of content, so if anyone else wants, they can also share their posts in this community. It is also a potentially good community to announce new things on Hive or even cross post Hive ecosystem news-worthy announcements.

This is obviously a tiny community (I am the only subscriber so far), but could grow if the news seem important to enough people.

My only request, if you want to post in the community is to not spam it with unrelated content, because I will actively mute those posts, and repeated offenders will get muted after a while in the community.

It's new for me, but I'll try to make it a routine to check the community daily and cast a vote where appropriate. Maybe a comment too...

Hive Goals Community

Many people on Hive write about their Hive-related goals. I am one of them. And after I decided to create the Hive News community last week, yesterday I decided it was a good idea to create one for Hive Goals, for two reasons. One, I already mentioned, because many people on Hive write about their Hive-related goals, and two, because I often have an issue choosing a community to post these posts of mine.

Then, regarding people who already write Hive goal posts, that's a good way to see what others are doing, maybe find out about some gems they haven't run into yet. And ideally, if they are all in the same community, they are easier to find. Since we allow cross-posts while the community is young, that shouldn't be so difficult to have more Hive goal posts in our community, hopefully.

These kind of posts often seem to be a source of inspiration for new users on Hive. So, that would be another benefit.

Do you guys find the two communities helpful? Do you have some ideas for the two communities?
