One of the most exciting and much-awaited events we have this year exclusively for young people in our Church is the District Summer Youth Camp.
As one of the core leaders for the Youth Department in our District, I am a bit very busy in the preparation since the beginning of the announcement until we have finally held this Youth Camp, and I thank God for we did it successfully.
This is what I am about to share here in my newest ""A Day in my Life" blog post. It is a three days event but I will be posting it as one.
Before anything else, I would like to thank first everyone, although it has been a while since my last blog post for I was very busy this past days, I will still never forget to thank you all, for all the support I received.
The day before our event, we have already prepared the venue which is at Gasa Resort and Campsite Manticao by doing all necessary preparation to do and we thank God for we have finished it immediately as we have helped each other.
This event will never be happened successfully without the help and unity of each and everyone of us leaders, that is why we have meetings and prepared a lot for this event to happen.
Finally after how many months and days of preparation, our District Summer Youth Camp has finally happening now, together with our young people in our Church and the young people from different Churches from Section 1, Section 2 and Section 3.
We gathered together for this event which came out with a total of more than 450 Campers in total, in which everyone are very happy and excited to what is really happening, and also to meet new friends.
It was started with a gathering in the function hall, with the first Lecture and to welcome everyone who have attended and to acknowledge every Pastors and Churches who have attended on this Youth Camp. We praise God for all the support we received from different Churches and young people most especially to our Church's young people.
In the afternoon around 3:00, the Ball Games was then started as this game schedule will be happening in two days only.
First is the Basketball Competition for the Boys. Every players who have joined is very excited as this is also one of the reason why they attend on the youth camp, to get have fun as will as to bond with other other players from other Churches.
Another one is the Volleyball Competition for girls, and again the girls were very excited to play the game as will as to meet new friends.
It was very nice watching both Basketball and Volleyball Competition as I can see that they've really have fun playing although sometimes it goes very challenging as they're very competitive but still thankful to God for it was peaceful done.
The most important part in every event we have like Youth Camp is the Night Rally. We have two night rally event but I will be focusing on the last night rally for it is one of the most exciting event as it is the last.
Before we go to the function hall in which it was already started, our Church Young People first asked me to have a pictures of them with their outfits. They looked very nice and clean for the night rally, all of them are very good tonight.
During our last night rally, God really works in us through the Holy Spirit. All of the young people were blessed by the Word shared by our Speaker who is our District Youth Director. He share to us about our theme which is, "Amplify to Testify".
The presence of God is within us and for all the young people, and we just pray to God that He will continue blessed this young people even after this Youth Camp and in their respective Churches.
With regards to our Foods in the three days Youth Camp. We thank God for all our Sponsors who have shared their blessings financially and even in physically.
We have many Church Members who volunteered themselves to share their blessings by bringing foods to us in every meals we have from breakfast down to dinner.
All of the young people were well feed with physical foods for we have lots of generous sponsors. Even to those who give cash to help us with other needs we have.
In the last day of our Youth Camp, we never missed the opportunity to have our pictures here with our Church's Young People as our remembrance in this memorable and unforgettable event we have this year.
In the last day, we have also given the prizes to all our Sports both indoor and outdoor games and thank God for we have successfully done all the games. It is also time for us to prepare as it also our time to go home.
