Something I've always loved is celebrating my friends' birthdays and accompanying them on their day which, without a doubt, is the most special day of all.
Recently it was my friend Camila's birthday. Of course I wasn't going to miss it.
Camila was the first friend I made in Caracas, a city that although I was (am) very fond of it, it was not my birthplace, and as a foreign student, I didn't know anyone and didn't know much about the city.
Algo que siempre me ha encantado es celebrar el cumpleaños de mis amigos y acompañarlos en su día que, sin dudas, es el más especial de todos.
Hace poco fue el cumpleaños de mi amiga, Camila. Por supuesto que no me lo iba a perder.
Camila fue la primera amiga que hice en Caracas, una ciudad que aunque mucho cariño le tenía (tengo), no era mi lugar de nacimiento, y como estudiante foránea que era, no conocía a nadie y tampoco conocía mucho la ciudad.
I met Camila thanks to music, since we shared the same affection and taste for several national bands, especially one called Colibrí, who today are great friends of ours.
I remember I had the audacity to ask her directly if she wanted to be my friend. At that time I really wanted a friend😁 With time we became closer, between concerts and music festivals, she opened the doors of her house to me, so much so that I spent a December 24 with her and her family who are very cool. They are people who I hold in high esteem ❤️
A Camila la conocí gracias a la música ya que compartíamos el mismo cariño y gusto hacia varias bandas nacionales, especialmente una que se llama Colibrí , que hoy día son grandes amigos nuestros.
Recuerdo que tuve la osadía de preguntarle directamente si quería ser mi amiga. En ese entonces yo quería mucho una amiga😁 Con el tiempo nos fuimos haciendo más cercanas, entre conciertos y Festivales de música, me abrió las puertas de su casa , tanto así que pasé un 24 de diciembre con ella y su familia que son muy geniales. Son personas a quienes tengo en alta estima ❤️
Nowadays we don't see each other as often, because we have our own occupations but the affection is still the same and that doesn't mean that we don't see each other at the most important moments.
On this occasion my boyfriend and I went to her house to share a nice moment with her, her family and some neighbors who are very funny people. I have very good memories with all of them.
Actualmente no nos vemos tan seguido, porque tenemos nuestras propias ocupaciones pero el cariño sigue siendo el mismo y eso no significa dejar de estar en los momentos más importantes.
En esta ocasión mi novio y yo fuimos a su casa para compartir un momento agradable con ella, su familia y algunos vecinos que son gente muy divertida. Tengo muy buenos recuerdos con todos ellos.
It was a quiet but great night. We ended up playing "Stop" and other fun games 😁.
To end we sang him the birthday song and ate cake made by his mom. My favorite part of birthdays is eating cake, no doubt 😂
Fue una noche tranquila pero genial. Terminamos jugando "Stop" y otros juegos muy divertidos 😁
Para finalizar le cantamos la canción del cumpleaños y comimos torta hecha por su mamá. Mi parte favorita de los cumpleaños es comer torta, sin dudas 😂
