It is undeniable that work seems to be so stressful and tiring. Teaching has always been my passion since I was younger. I remember back then during summer, every May, as Roman Catholics, we celebrate Flores De Mayo and I have always been the teacher to the young children of our barangay.
Every day, my partner drops me off to school and picks me up every after school also. Sometimes he randomly visit me and just like today, he went here in my classroom to bring me my favorite snacks.
I found out that this is my "balato" after he won in the cockpit arena. I thanked him for being thoughtful and knowing my favorites, he really knows how to make me happy.
A "balato" is something you give out as a gift after winning from a cockpit or some gambling. I do not prohibit him from going to the cockpit arena as long as he goes there just sometimes and gambles with limits.
Just as any game, sometimes he wins and sometimes he loses, but I am happy he won as he always shares his money to me and he knows one thing that makes me happy is through foods.
He bought my favorite pizza from Tuburan Café and some strawberry drinks from Tuburan Café also.
It was a good timing that it was my vacant time therefore I was able to entertain him. After we ate, he then went home.
