How are you, friends I hope you are well. Thank you Wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay. Balong in English is place to store water, Cigugur is the name of a place. The location of this water storage is at the foot of Mount Ciremai, the distance from the city of Kuningan West Java is about 3 kilometers.
Balong Cigugur has existed for a long time and is protected by the community because it is one of the water sources that is widely used. The height of the Balong Cigugur is around 650 meters above sea level, and the one that managed the Balong Cigugur place is a local company.

I entered the Cigugur pond area and it became one of the tourist attractions in Kuningan city. An explanation from one of the employees managing this place, this pond has several springs that never dry up even in the the dry season.
Water from this place is used by the local clean water company, use for agricultural irrigation, and also used for community needs, by using pipe. The water is quite clear more than a thousand fish live in this pond. The type of fish in the pond, the community calls it the dewa fish.
And the prohibition is that the dewa fish may not be taken, if there are fish that die, the fish are buried. Trees around the are may not be cut down, that is one form of society protecting the environment.
The water is quite clear, creating reflection in the water from the Surrounding trees, which is quite beautiful to look at natural environment.
