Recently, we were planning to go on a nature walk with my family, but we couldn't do it because I work during the week and we always have things to do on the weekends. One Saturday, when my dad's friends sent him a photo of morels on Whatsapp, he said “get ready, we're going”.
Why is this mushroom so important? Because it is a local mushroom and it is very tasty. When I eat this mushroom, I feel like I'm eating meat. Think of it as a kind of tradition. When this mushroom comes out in spring, we go looking for it and cook it on the stove and eat it.
The place where we go to look for morels is literally the heart of nature. It's in the mountains with a perfect view. And it's warmer than where we live. You know this lake, right? This is the Turquoise lake in Hive, which has been shared many times by my friends.
Although not as much as the places I shared in the Black Sea region, this is also a very wooded area. Since it is rich in oxygen, hiking is much more enjoyable than usual.
Enough talk, let the morel search operation begin! My uncle came with us and he is one of the best morel finders in our village. He is very good at it because he walks a lot and knows where the mushrooms are growing. I can explain it to you like this, this mushroom grows in the same place every year. For example, if you go one year and see 20 mushrooms side by side in one place, look again the next year and you will find more or fewer. But there will always be mushrooms there.
I was not only looking for mushrooms, but also for beautiful landscapes. Sometimes you walk past a beautiful landscape and when you come back you realize how beautiful it is. That's why when I was walking, sometimes I would turn around and look back.
Rather than walking on any particular route, I just randomly walked up, down and left and right. As I got closer to the lakeside, I took some shots from there. Unfortunately, I didn't find any mushrooms, so is it my fault?
Of course not, because when we met by the car after an hour of searching, I heard that nobody had found any mushrooms. This is really strange because even by chance, one person finds one mushroom, right? There were six of us and not one mushroom was found.
I think this was the best photo I took. I took it when we were walking to the car.
So did we give up? No, we didn't! We went to a more remote and mountainous place to look for mushrooms. We went as far as we could by car and then continued on foot. Unfortunately the roads are made of soil and we can't go everywhere to avoid damaging the car.
Incublus is looking for photos as usual. I try to capture beautiful landscapes from both classic and wide angle. Ever since I discovered the wide angle camera it's like a new chapter in my life lol. I think I can take much more beautiful photos.
When you walk in nature, you don't realize how fast time passes. I walked more than 5000 steps that day and I didn't feel tired at all. I thought it would make me tired because I'm not someone who walks every day.
As I went higher and higher, I had the opportunity to shoot different landscapes. I tried to shoot distant mountains through different trees. If you like this one, you will see a better one soon.
Here is a settlement far away. In the previous photo the trees were blocking it but now you can see it. Oh if you can't see it you can zoom in a bit :P
I walked almost to the foot of the mountains but I didn't find any mushrooms. Even though I had an unlucky day in terms of mushrooms, at least I took some beautiful photos.
I had to keep a memory from that day and I took a nice selfie with my family. I think it had been a few years since the last family photo. Since we all live in different cities, it can be difficult to get together.
Finally, I wanted to test the quality of my camera before I go back. If you bring your phone too close to an object while taking a photo, as you know, there is a focusing problem. You can see the ants clearly in the photo even though I took it very close, right? I can even see their jaws and sharp teeth when I zoom in. Unfortunately I don't know their species but there were dozens of them around!
Fun fact: Not only me but nobody else could find mushrooms. We were expecting my uncle to find at least a few, if not all of us. Maybe it's not the season yet. We will come back here later.

Geçtiğimiz günlerde ailemle birlikte bir doğa yürüyüşü yapmayı planlıyorduk ancak ben hafta içi çalışıyorum ve hafta sonları da hep yapacak işlerimiz olduğu için yapamıyorduk. Bir Cumartesi günü babama arkadaşları Whatsapp üzerinden kuzugöbeği fotoğrafı gönderince babam "hazırlanın, gidiyoruz" dedi.
Bu mantar neden bu kadar önemli? Çünkü bu yöresel bir mantar ve yemeği çok lezzetli oluyor. Bu mantarı yerken et yiyormuş gibi hissediyorum. Bir nevi gelenek gibi düşünün. Bahar mevsiminde bu mantar çıktığında aramaya gideriz ve sobanın üzerinde pişirip yeriz.
Kuzugöbeği aramaya gittiğimiz yer tam anlamıyla doğanın kalbi. Dağların arasında mükemmel manzaraya sahip bir yer. Üstelik yaşadığımız yere göre daha sıcak oluyor. Bu gölü biliyorsunuz değil mi? Hive'da arkadaşlarım tarafından pek çok defa paylaşılan Turkuaz gölü burası.
Karadeniz bölgesinde paylaştığım yerler kadar olmasa da burası da oldukça ağaçlık bir bölge. Oksijen açısından zengin olduğu için yürümek normalden çok daha keyifli oluyor.
Bu kadar konuşma yeter, kuzugöbeği arama operasyonu başlasın! Amcam da bizimle geldi ve köyümüzde yaşayan en iyi kuzugöbeği bulan insanlardan biri. Bu konuda çok başarılı olmasının sebebi çok fazla yürümesi ve mantarların özellikle nerede çıktığını bilmesi. Bunu size şöyle anlatabilirim, bu mantar her yıl aynı yerde yetişiyor. Örneğin bir yıl gittiğinizde bir yerde 20 tane mantarı yan yana gördüyseniz bir sonraki yıl aynı yere tekrar bakın ve daha fazlasını ya da daha azını bulacaksınız. Ama mutlaka orada mantar olur.
Ben sadece mantar aramıyordum, aynı zamanda güzel manzaraların peşindeyim. Bazen güzel bir manzaranın yanından yürüyüp gidersiniz ve geri döndüğünüzde ne kadar güzel olduğunu fark edersiniz. Bu yüzden yürüdüğüm yerlerde bazen arkama dönüp bakıyordum.
Herhangi bir güzergahta yürümektense rastgele yukarı, aşağı ve sağa sola yürümeyi tercih ettim. Göl kenarına yaklaştıkça oradan bazı kareler çektim. Bu esnada maalesef hiç mantar bulamadım. Peki bu benim hatam mı?
Tabi ki değil çünkü bir saati aramanın aşkından arabanın yanında buluştuğumuzda kimsenin mantar bulamadığını duydum. Bu gerçekten garip çünkü tesadüf eseri bile olsa bir kişi bir tane mantar bulur değil mi? Orada 6 kişiydik ve bir tane bile mantar bulunamadı.
Sanırım çektiğim fotoğrafların içinde en güzeli buydu. Arabaya doğru yürürken çektim.
Peki pes ettik mi? Hayır! Daha uzak ve dağlık bir yere mantar aramaya gittik. Arabayla gidebildiğimiz yere kadar gittikten sonra yürüyerek devam ettik. Maalesef yollar topraktan yapıldı ve araba zarar görmesin diye her yere gidemiyoruz.
Incublus her zamanki gibi fotoğraf peşinde. Yakaladığım güzel manzaraları hem klasik hem de geniş açıdan fotoğraflamaya çalışıyorum. Geniş açı kamerasını keşfettiğimden beri hayatımda yeni bir pencere açılmış gibi lol. Çok daha güzel fotoğraflar çekebildiğimi düşünüyorum.
Doğada yürürken insan zamanın ne kadar hızlı geçtiğini anlamıyor. O gün 5000 adımdan fazla yürüdüm ve hiç yorgunluk hissetmedim. Her gün yürüyen biri olmadığım için bunun beni yoracağını düşünüyordum.
Daha yükseğe çıktıkça farklı manzaraları çekme fırsatı yakaladım. Farklı ağaçların arasından uzak dağları çekmeye çalıştım. Bunu beğendiyseniz daha güzelini birazdan göreceksiniz.
İşte çok uzaktaki bir yerleşim yeri. Bir önceki fotoğrafta ağaçlar önünü kapatıyordu ama şimdi görebiliyorsunuz. Oh eğer göremiyorsanız fotoğrafı biraz yakınlaştırabilirsiniz :P
Neredeyse dağların eteklerine kadar yürüdüm ancak hiç mantar bulamadım. Mantar açısından şanssız bir gün geçirsem de en azından çok güzel fotoğraflar çektim.
O günden bir anı kalması gerekiyordu ve ailemle güzel bir selfie çektik. Sanırım en son aile fotoğrafının üstünden birkaç yıl geçmişti. Hepimiz farklı şehirlerde yaşadığımız için bir araya gelmemiz zor olabiliyor.
Son olarak dönmeden önce kameramın kalitesini test etmek istedim. Fotoğraf çekerken telefonunuzu bir nesneye çok yakınlaştırırsanız bildiğiniz gibi odaklanma sorunu oluyor. Çok yakından çekmeme rağmen karıncaları net bir şekilde fotoğrafta görüyorsunuz değil mi? Ben yakınlaştırdığımda çenelerini ve keskin dişlerini bile görebiliyorum. Ne yazık ki türlerini bilmiyorum ama etrafta onlarcası vardı!
Komik Gerçek: Sadece ben değil kimse mantar bulamadı. Hiçbirimiz olmasa bile amcamın en az birkaç tane bulmasını bekliyorduk. Belki de henüz mevsimi değildir. Daha sonra buraya tekrar geleceğiz.
