Hello my friends, I hope you are enjoying the spring weather. The weather seems to have warmed up again. I can't say the same for Frostpunk because we are expecting a big storm here. So it's very cold!
In the previous chapter we made huge profits from exploration. We managed to find oil and goods. We passed a law about outsiders coming into the city and now we will only allow productive foreigners into our city. We are not on good terms with the Yilmazlar and they will no longer organize rallies for me. The biggest development is the disappearance of people from the Pilgrims community. I was doing a research on them, but my supporters came and told me not to continue this research because they are the ones who kidnapped the missing people. So I listened to them.
At the moment everything is going well in the city, I'm accumulating a lot of resources and preparing for the coming storm, building algae treatment towers to reduce the only problem in the city, which is misery, and a hospital to take care of the sick.
Our city is getting bigger and bigger, but for now I don't have jobs for so many people in the main city, so I'm going to transfer most of them to the colony, where they can help extract oil and produce prefabricated materials.
WTF? A boy came and said they gave everything they had to meet the funding request. They even took their beds. This is cruelty. If I had known, I would never have asked you for such a thing, my friend. I've got to be more careful when I fulfill community requests.
Yilmazlar is getting out of control. Now they get on top of the automatons in the city and patrol the city in this way. Someone stole a loaf of bread and they almost destroyed the city while chasing him with an automaton. But they say they have also prevented crime to a significant extent. Of course I'm against it, I don't want them to persecute people.
We found a place we remember from the first game called Winter's Nest. People say it's cursed and people who go there start coughing and they don't get better. They want us to take them in. There is still space in our city.
We've discovered a place called the Hot Springs. If we can access it, we can greatly reduce the disease. There are no problems at the moment, but this does not mean that there will not be any problems in the coming days. But they won't let us access it yet. To do this, they want us to rebuild the freight station at the high pass and restart the mushroom experiments in the eternal plains. I have no idea where the things he is talking about are but I will find out lol.
See the notification at the bottom right? 100 Pilgrims members have mysteriously disappeared. It's something that will not only make them angry but will throw my city into chaos. Maybe working people have disappeared. I wish I had intervened at that moment and not let them kidnap people.
A woman came and wanted to enter the city, saying she had a daughter in the city. I know we have said that we will only take productive people, but if we want people here to be happy, we should also take their families. It will reduce the effectiveness of this law, but it is worth it.
Remember the first part? We played as travelers and now those travelers are back. They say this place belongs to them and they want oil at least to survive. Otherwise they may attack the colony before the storm. Of course I don't want that to happen so I'm going to give them oil. After all we took their camp.
Fortunately, after giving the oil, the Travelers did not ask for anything else and dispersed peacefully. They said they were now friends with us.
In one place we discovered, traders were so hungry that they were willing to give 25000 goods in exchange for 5000 food. This is a great deal for me.
We found a place called outpost 11. It was an old warehouse and building an outpost here will greatly increase my stock capacity. Obviously, I need it very badly because I have a glut right now and I'm constantly building new ones because the warehouses are full.
If I can connect another place I'm exploring to the city, my exploration speed will increase dramatically. Honestly, I shouldn't need it because I've explored almost the entire map, but I'll still use it because you never know if I'll need it.
I found the cave they told me about. Rebuilding it will provide me with food. That's why I rebuilt it.
I also rebuilt the station, which was the last wish of the people who live in the hot spring, and I connected it to the city. I think I won't have to worry about sickness anymore. This is more important than it seems because when the storm comes, people are bound to get sick and the faster they get better, the better.
I think that's enough for this episode. We've made pretty good progress, but we still haven't seen the storm. I began to wonder when it would come. Thank you very much for reading, I hope you liked it. Don't forget to share your thoughts with me in the comments. Take care and have a great day!
