Hace unos días pasé por la Plaza Bolívar, como tantas veces, pero algo fue distinto, la iglesia católica que siempre veía cerrada, estaba abierta, y siempre me ha llamado la atención la arquitectura de esas iglesias antiguas, así que entré.
Y wow. Sentí que había cruzado a otro mundo, todo era silencio, luz suave entrando por los vitrales, columnas enormes, techos altísimos, me quedé quieta, solo mirando, era como estar dentro de una historia antigua.
No entendía mucho de lo que veía, pero no hacía falta, el lugar hablaba por sí solo, aunque no comparto la fe que representa, con mucho respeto pude conectar con su belleza, con su historia, de verdad muy impresionante.
Salí con una sensación de calma, y la satisfacción de tomar algunas imágenes para mostrarles, a veces justo frente a nosotros, hay cosas inimaginables, solo hay que animarse a entrar.

A few days ago I passed by Plaza Bolivar, like so many times, but something was different, the catholic church that I always saw closed, was open, and I have always been attracted by the architecture of those old churches, so I went inside
And wow. I felt like I had crossed into another world, everything was silence, soft light coming through the stained glass windows, huge columns, soaring ceilings, I stood still, just looking, it was like being inside an ancient history.
I did not understand much of what I saw, but I did not need to, the place spoke for itself, although I do not share the faith it represents, with much respect I was able to connect with its beauty, with its history, really very impressive.
I left with a sense of calm, and the satisfaction of taking some pictures to show you, sometimes right in front of us, there are unimaginable things, you just have to dare to enter.
