Last Saturday and Sunday took place the awaited third edition of the Expo Comic Venezuela in the city of Barquisimeto. For the third consecutive time the event was held at the Arena Plaza Shopping Mall and had an excellent public attendance.
It is an event that has gained great reputation. All over the country I see that many seismic events are being made, in my youth I did not do any of this, everything was a niche too unexplored, I am glad that now, both young and old have the opportunity to bring out our inner child and enjoy this kind of events.
El pasado sábado y domingo se llevó a cabo la esperada tercera edición de la Expo Comic Venezuela en la ciudad de Barquisimeto. Por tercera vez consecutiva el evento se realizó en el Centro Comercial Arena Plaza y contó con una excelente asistencia de público.
Es un evento que ha ganado gran reputación. En todo el país veo que se están haciendo muchos eventos sísmicos, en mi juventud no hice nada de esto, todo era un nicho demasiado inexplorado, me alegra que ahora, tanto los jóvenes como los mayores tengamos la oportunidad de sacar nuestro niño interior y disfrutar de este tipo de eventos.
Brands and commercial companies were allies of good, as the organization called them in advertising on social networks. There was everything for fans of video games, comics, movies, anime, rock and roll. From accessories, t-shirts, shoes, posters. Different prices, some things were expensive, but if the price was low, there were also products at affordable prices. To these events provokes is to go with a lot of money and buy a lot of things.
The video game tournaments started very early, from ten o'clock on Saturday morning. Gamers had their space to have a good time. There were also spaces for children to play, as they have done in other editions, the organizers focused this event to something that could be enjoyed with the whole family.
The event was not open to outside food or drinks, as they had their own area for anyone who wanted to eat. tequeños, hot dogs, cakes, aglletas, mango, chicha, soda, water, ramen, there was a good variety of things. In any case, the attendees were able to leave the closed area to eat in the food area of the mall.
Las marcas y las empresas comerciales eran aliadas del bien, como las llamaba la organización en la publicidad en redes sociales. Había de todo para los fans de los videojuegos, los cómics, el cine, el anime, el rock and roll. Desde accesorios, camisetas, zapatos, pósters. Diferentes precios, algunas cosas eran caras, pero si el precio era bajo, también había productos a precios módicos. A estos eventos provoca es ir con mucho dinero y comprar muchas cosas.
Los torneos de videojuegos empezaban muy temprano, a partir de las diez de la mañana del sábado. Los jugadores tenían su espacio para pasarlo bien. También había espacios para que jugaran los niños, como han hecho en otras ediciones, los organizadores enfocaron este evento a algo que se pudiera disfrutar con toda la familia.
El evento no estaba abierto a comida o bebidas externas, ya que tenían su propia área para quien quisiera comer. tequeños, hot dogs, tortas, aglletas, mango, chicha, refresco, agua, ramen, había una buena variedad de cosas. En todo caso, los asistentes pudieron salir del área cerrada para consumir en el area de comida centro comercial.
Cosplayers everywhere. What a great turnout of cosplayers showing off their atheunedos. Special guests from other cities in the country stood out. Jocelin Nacimneto, who was also there last year, was there on the first day with her Wonder Woman cosplay, which was a surprise. She is a very beautiful and kind Venezuelan cosplayer.
Omar Pronza and Vicky Ñauri, looked the first day as Captain America and Captain Carter. They liked their costumes and the next day they shined again with the cosplay of Wolverine and Moana. Vicky Ñauri makes spectacular cosplay. I loved it and she is also very expressive and friendly with the public.
Rafael Alizo, just like last year, impressed the audience with his Loki cosplay. He has quite a resemblance. The public, the exhibitors, the media, everyone was taking pictures of him. It must be exhausting for them.
Cosplayers por todas partes. Qué gran asistencia de cosplayers mostrando sus atheunedos. Destacaron los invitados especiales de otras ciudades del país. Jocelin Nacimneto, quien también estuvo el año pasado, el primer día estuvo con su cosplay de Wonder Woman, lo cual fue una sorpresa. Es una cosplayer venezolana muy bella y amable.
Omar Pronza y Vicky Ñauri, lucieron el primer día como Capitán América y Capitán Carter. Gustaron sus disfraces y al día siguiente volvieron a brillar con el cosplay de Wolverine y Moana. Vicky Ñauri hace unos cosplay espectaculares. Me encantó y además es muy expresiva y simpática con el público.
Rafael Alizo, al igual que el año pasado, impresionó al público con su cosplay de Loki. Tiene bastante parecido. El público, los expositores, los medios de comunicación, todo el mundo le hacía fotos. Debe de ser agotador para ellos.
There were also cosplayers from the city who were special guests, plus everyone who attended and went with their best cosplay to share and hang out with their peers. I liked that on Saturday several of them got together and organized a group cosplay of DC characters. I loved one of the Joker. Cieru cosplayed her spectacular Harley Quinn. El Pinguino also did a great job.
Both days featured musical presentations. The Odc dance academy presented their show El juego del Calamar. The group Izzly (I think that was the name) also presented a spectacular song and dance show. Others who performed I don't remember their names. On Sunday, the musical highlight was the group Yamete Kudasai. There were fans of the band in the audience giving them their support. They had two sets to play and sing their songs.
También hubo cosplayers de la ciudad que fueron invitados especiales, además de todos los que asistieron y fueron con su mejor cosplay a compartir y pasar un rato con sus compañeros. Me gustó que el sábado varios de ellos se juntaron y organizaron un cosplay grupal de personajes de DC. Me encanto uno del Joker. Cieru hizo cosplay con su espectacular Harley Quinn. El de El Pinguino también hizo un gran trabajo.
Ambos días hubo presentaciones musicales. La academia de baile Odc presentó su espectáculo El juego del Calamar. El grupo Izzly (creo que ese era el nombre) también presentó un espectacular show de canto y baile. Otros que actuaron no recuerdo sus nombres. El domingo, el plato fuerte musical fue el grupo Yamete Kudasai. Había fans de la banda entre el público dándoles su apoyo. Tuvieron dos sets para tocar y cantar sus canciones.
Luis Jiménez, owner of the website Naguara, presented his latest acquisition for the collection. A Batmobile that arrived a few months ago. Jiménez is the biggest Batman collector in Venezuela. Each time he increases the amount of products he collects. He was near the central stage.
I'm more of a DC fan and I liked that I saw a lot of cosplayers from that universe. With the release of Gunn's Superman soon, surely there will be many Superman cosplayers at the next event.
The Batman of Barquisimeto was there for two days. He went with his mascot, Bati Perro. He runs a foundation in the city that helps children cancer patients, taking advantage of the event to spread his noble cause and get support from anyone who wants to contribute their bit.
Luis Jiménez, propietario de la web Naguara, presentó su última adquisición para la colección. Un Batmóvil que llegó hace unos meses. Jiménez es el mayor coleccionista de Batman en Venezuela. Cada vez aumenta la cantidad de productos que colecciona. Estaba cerca del escenario central.
Yo soy más fan de DC y me gustó que vi muchos cosplayers de ese universo. Con el estreno de Superman de Gunn pronto, seguramente habrá muchos cosplayers de Superman en el próximo evento.
El Batman de Barquisimeto estuvo allí dos días. Fue con su mascota, Bati Perro. Dirige un fundacion en la ciudad que ayuda a niños pacientes oncológicos, aprovechando el evento para difundir su noble causa y conseguir apoyo de todo aquel que desee aportar su granito de arena.
I took a lot of photos, I got home Sunday night totally exhausted. It was hard to select photos for the post, so many photos came out, maybe I'll keep sharing them in peakd snaps.
An excellent event. The organizers announced that they are already planning the fourth edition, for the same dates next year.

Hice muchas fotos, llegué a casa el domingo por la noche totalmente agotado. Fue difícil seleccionar las fotos para el post, salieron muchas fotos, tal vez las siga compartiendo en los peakd snaps.
Un evento excelente. Los organizadores anunciaron que ya están planeando la cuarta edición, para las mismas fechas del año que viene.
