“In my soul, I am still that small child who did not care about anything else but the beautiful colors of a rainbow.”
– Papiya Ghosh
Hello there, fellow explorers of the inner child’s wonders! It's been a week since my last blog! Today, I'm going to share with you something new and exciting. This adventure gives a feeling of being inside a giant aquarium. Yeah, you read that right. So, come with me as I'll show you the fantastic CEBU OCEAN PARK!
Cebu Ocean Park is located at SM Seaside Complex, F. Vestil St, Cebu City, Cebu, Philippines. Presently, it's the largest ocean park in the Philippines and one of the best aquatic escapades for everyone! It's a place full of wonder, and everybody of all ages will surely love it. Behold, everyone, as I will show you a glimpse of my marine adventure.
TIME TO ROLL!💙🌊
Okay, upon entering the park, you will get to see this amazing view. Honestly, I was so mesmerized at that moment because it was my first time going there, and everything just felt so surreal. It felt like I was walking under the water.
This one is an iguana🦎, which looks like a combination of a lizard and a dinosaur. It's cute, and honestly, I never knew about this species until I saw it.
Here are some photos that will serve as a sneak peek of Cebu Ocean Park's first floor. But I assure you guys, these are just 1/8 of what's actually in there. I failed to take more shots, it's just that my eyes were locked on exploring around at that time.
Seeing snakes gives me chills, actually. But I'm still fascinated to discover these different kinds of snakes. Hence, there's more there that could give you more goosebumps as well.
Afterward, we hopped on the escalator and headed to the second floor for more exploration.
Charaaaaannn! Welcome to the Seven Seas, dear Hivers! Indeed, this ocean park is so huge. It's full of people and foreigners, too, most especially during weekends.
It's an alligator! Okay, maybe there are still some people here, just like me, who always get confused about the difference between an alligator and a crocodile. I used to forget most of the time, but not anymore because I remember them according to the shape of their snouts. 😂 So, alligators have broad and U-shaped snouts, while crocodiles have narrow and V-shaped ones, just like what I shared with you about my adventure in Cebu Safari.
Then, we proceeded to an area that resembled a sea tunnel, and it was genuinely jaw-dropping and incredible. It honestly felt like a dreamland because being inside made it seem as though you were one of the fishes.🤣
You can take adorable photos here. If you're wondering why I don't have any photos of myself, it's because I occasionally feel self-conscious when there are many people around, or sometimes, I simply don't bother because I enjoy capturing the scenery rather than myself. 🫶
Just like in Cebu Safari and Adventure Park, Cebu Ocean Park also has a bird show. This is indeed very entertaining and interesting, as you get to see distinct types of birds that are cute, funny, brilliant, talented, and, of course, fantastic.
At the beginning of the show, these lovely birds initially demonstrated proper waste disposal to the audience, setting a great example. Then, the speaker would reinforce a message by saying, "If these birds can, why can't we?".🥺 Indeed, it serves as a potent reminder for everyone not to throw garbage everywhere, not to litter, and serves as a wake-up call for protecting our nature and environment for our own sake and for the sake of all the living things on Earth.
These birds are all wonderful. They can solve numbers, they do brilliant games, they're competitive, and they're just beautifully unique. I just love them so much for putting bright smiles on everyone's faces. They are all extraordinary.🤍
What makes the park even more wonderful is that they have a restaurant inside where you can definitely enjoy your meal while looking at a captivating view at the same time. I swear guys, you'll absolutely love this place and have a memorable dining experience.
While enjoying your meal, you can watch divers welcoming everyone to Cebu Ocean Park, and it's undoubtedly one of the cutest and heartwarming moments I've witnessed there. They wave and even make the finger heart sign. 🫰
On an overall note, this adventure is one of the most precious and unforgettable experiences I've had. It has made my inner child very happy. It just reminds me how amazing the Philippines is, how amazing Cebu is, and I'm indeed a proud Cebuana. I know there's so much more to discover and explore, and in God's perfect timing, I'll be able to be there with my significant ones.
Thank you so much, dear Hivers! for again, reaching this far. I genuinely appreciate you all, and I'm very much pleased to share all my adventures in life with you. I'm grateful to all of you, and cheers to more sharing of thoughts and life events! Love you, everyone, and catch you again on my next blog. ✨
