Weekend, a two day rest from a very long tiring weekdays. Regularly every weekend we do our household chores but this weekend is different. This trip is totally unplanned because in the morning we just a receive a call from our aunt telling us that we are going on a trip. And she said she was stressed in 5 weekdays of work so she wanted to unwind.
We agreed to come along with them and It's been a long time since we didn't go out for a walk. After a short preparation here we are on the way to the Balaoan , La Union.
We arrived a little late because of too much traffic. And guest what, there were so many people, we almost didn't get any tables.
As a result we decided to just drop by here at Immuki Island for about an hour and good to go to our next destination. The scenery is pretty amazing because it has a floating island in the middle of the ocean. To be able to get to the island we need to to ride a boat. I am amaze to their boat because it looks very simple but it has a second floor. That’s cool right, it is my first time to see that kind of boat.
And again another waiting time for us to ride a boat because they are fully booked so me and my cousin decided to just cross the sea to be able to reach the little island at the center.
We even hesitated, because I thought this was just a walking trip but seemingly switched it into a swimming trip so we didn't pack our extra shorts and t-shirts. Without further a do we start walking trough the water together with my cousins.
The water is not that deep and the very cool thing the water is very clear I literally see trough the sand and rock corals.
The island is not that far we just spend almost 10 mins. walking through the water. The path is a little bit rocky road so we walk slowly to prevent accidents.
Finally we reach The starting point of the island. We went for a walk of the entire island The surface doesn’t have a sand it is just a pure rock.
Because we are so tired we planned to swim. We're just gonna buy a dry spare t-shirt and shorts in the department stores before we go to the next destination.
When we left the island we found a souvenir shop. So we bought a shirt and shorts. Oh, it's an instant souvenir. We already have a change cloths and we still have souvenirs for the island.
Our next destination is “bahay na bato” . The house a fully made by a stone. They have also a beautiful scenery at the back of the house.
All in all, it's nice when the trip is unplanned . Even though it was an unplanned trip, it was still fun and I enjoyed it a lot . Thank you for reading , I hope see you again to my next journey.
