Hello everyone, and welcome to my blog! I'm Lorentm, a digital artist deeply passionate about character design and anime-inspired art. Today, I'm thrilled to share with you a new piece I created based on one of the characters from @holozing. As a fan of this wonderful universe and a proud member of the community, it fills me with joy to bring to life the female Light Healer in my own style.
This character instantly caught my attention due to her serene, mystical aura and her elegant design. I wanted to take that essence and amplify it with a gothic twist, giving her a more ethereal and powerful presence. Her expression is calm yet resolute, as if she carries an ancient knowledge with her — a protector who heals with light but has walked through shadows. It was an emotional journey giving form to her, and I hope you can feel the same connection through my artwork.

Hoy estoy muy emocionada de compartir con ustedes una nueva obra que creé, basada en uno de los personajes del universo de @holozing. Como seguidora de este hermoso proyecto y miembro activa de su comunidad, me llena de alegría presentar mi versión de la sanadora de luz femenina.
Este personaje me cautivó al instante por su aura serena, mística y por su diseño elegante. Quise tomar esa esencia y amplificarla con un toque gótico, dándole una presencia más etérea y poderosa. Su expresión es tranquila pero decidida, como si llevara consigo un conocimiento antiguo; una protectora que sana con luz, pero que ha caminado entre sombras. Fue un viaje emocional darle forma y espero que puedan sentir esa conexión a través de mi obra.
The female Light Healer is portrayed wearing a gothic-inspired habit, dark with golden details, evoking both reverence and mystery. Her long, lavender hair flows delicately down her shoulders, contrasting with her deep black veil adorned with lace. Her eyes are amber, glowing with gentle wisdom, framed by thick lashes and a subtle, confident smile.
She wears ornate golden crosses on her chest and waist, symbols of healing and light. A unique crown-like ornament rests on her bangs, enhancing her divine appearance. Her outfit is a blend of sacred and arcane elements, with intricate embroidery and elegant structure that suggests both grace and strength. Every detail was designed to emphasize her duality — a healer of light cloaked in the shadows of gothic elegance.
La sanadora de luz femenina aparece vestida con un hábito de inspiración gótica, oscuro y decorado con detalles dorados, evocando tanto reverencia como misterio. Su largo cabello lavanda cae delicadamente sobre sus hombros, en contraste con su velo negro profundo adornado con encaje. Sus ojos ámbar brillan con una sabiduría serena, enmarcados por pestañas largas y una sonrisa sutil, pero segura.
Luce cruces doradas ornamentadas en el pecho y la cintura, símbolos de sanación y luz. Un adorno único en forma de corona descansa sobre su flequillo, acentuando su apariencia divina. Su vestimenta mezcla elementos sagrados y arcanos, con bordados intrincados y una estructura elegante que transmite tanto gracia como fortaleza. Cada detalle fue pensado para resaltar su dualidad: una sanadora de luz envuelta en la sombra de una estética gótica.
Process / Proceso
My creative journey started with a rough sketch. I always try to capture the essence of the character’s posture and expression at this early stage. The lines are loose, almost like whispers guiding me toward the final form. It’s one of the most liberating parts of the process because it’s where I dream freely and explore the personality of the character.
Once I had a solid sketch, I moved on to the lineart. Here, I refined every curve and detail, giving clarity and structure to the initial concept. This step requires patience and precision, as it’s the skeleton of the entire piece. It’s also the point where the character begins to feel real to me, as her form takes shape with more intention.
Coloring was next. I carefully selected a palette that would enhance the gothic tones without losing the warmth and purity of the Light Healer. The dark purples, deep blacks, and golden highlights were chosen to reflect her sacred yet mysterious nature. Coloring is always a joyful part, where the flat lines start gaining life and emotion.
Then came the shadows. I used soft, blended shading to create depth and realism. I wanted the lighting to feel like it came from the candles of an ancient cathedral, casting soft shadows that wrap around her form, enhancing her mystique. This is where the mood of the piece really settled in.
Adding highlights was like placing stardust. Strategic touches of brightness on her hair, ornaments, and eyes brought a sense of magic and light. The spark in her eyes and the glow in her accessories added that final divine essence that defines her role as a healer.
Lastly, I created the background. I chose to depict a dim, cathedral-like interior with glowing lights in the distance to give context to her spiritual role. The atmosphere had to complement her without overwhelming her presence — a silent stage for her light to shine.
Mi viaje creativo comenzó con un boceto. Siempre trato de capturar la esencia de la postura y expresión del personaje en esta etapa inicial. Las líneas son sueltas, casi como susurros que me guían hacia la forma final. Es una de las partes más liberadoras del proceso, porque es donde sueño con libertad y exploro la personalidad del personaje.
Una vez que tuve un boceto sólido, pasé al delineado. Aquí afiné cada curva y detalle, dando claridad y estructura al concepto inicial. Este paso requiere paciencia y precisión, ya que es el esqueleto de toda la obra. También es el momento donde el personaje comienza a sentirse real para mí, pues su forma toma vida con más intención.
Luego continué con el coloreado. Seleccioné cuidadosamente una paleta que realzara los tonos góticos sin perder la calidez y pureza de la sanadora de luz. Los púrpuras oscuros, negros profundos y reflejos dorados fueron elegidos para reflejar su naturaleza sagrada pero misteriosa. Colorear siempre es una parte alegre, donde las líneas planas comienzan a cobrar vida y emoción.
Después llegaron las sombras. Usé sombras suaves y difuminadas para crear profundidad y realismo. Quise que la iluminación se sintiera como proveniente de las velas de una antigua catedral, proyectando sombras tenues que abrazan su forma y realzan su misticismo. Aquí es donde el ambiente de la pieza realmente se asentó.
Agregar los brillos fue como colocar polvo de estrellas. Toques estratégicos de luz en su cabello, adornos y ojos le dieron un sentido de magia y resplandor. El brillo en su mirada y el resplandor de sus accesorios añadieron esa esencia divina final que define su papel como sanadora.
Finalmente, creé el fondo. Elegí representar un interior tenue, como el de una catedral, con luces brillando a lo lejos para contextualizar su rol espiritual. La atmósfera debía complementar su figura sin opacarla, siendo un escenario silencioso para que su luz brillara.
Creating this piece was a rewarding and immersive experience. I truly enjoyed bringing the female Light Healer to life in a style that reflects both devotion and artistic darkness. This is the first character in what I hope will become a full collection of gothic-themed healers — a tribute to those who mend the world with both light and mystery.

Crear esta obra fue una experiencia gratificante e inmersiva. Realmente disfruté dar vida a la sanadora de luz femenina en un estilo que refleja tanto devoción como oscuridad artística. Este es el primer personaje de lo que espero sea una colección completa de sanadores con temática gótica, un tributo a quienes curan el mundo con luz y misterio.
