Today, I want to share a new birthday photoshoot I did for a client in my photography studio.
For the first few shots, we decided to start without any extra accessories, as a warm up:
Hoy les quiero compartir una nueva sesion de fotos de cumpleaños que hice para una chica en mi estudio de fotografia.
Para las primeras fotos quisimos empezar sin accesorios extras, como manera de calentamiento:
All photos were taken with my Canon R8 camera and a 50mm f/2.8 lens.
For lighting, I used two light points: for the main light, I used a speedlite flash with a 50 cm octabox at a 45 degree angle to the girl, and as a secondary light, I used an LED light panel behind her to create a rim light.
Todas las fotos las tomé con mi camara Canon R8 y un lente 50mm a 2.8/f
Para la iluminación utilicé dos puntos de luz, para luz principal usé un flash speed lite con un octabox de 50 cm a 45 grados de la chica y como luz secundaria utilicé un panel de luz led detras de la chica para crear una luz de recorte.
Next, we placed a large balloon on the set, this one was special because it had the client's name on it:
Luego pusimos un gran globo en el set, este era especial porque tenia el nombre de la chica:
The client already had previous experience with photoshoots and was confident in front of the camera, so she instinctively struck the poses she liked best.
For the next photos, we added more balloons to the set:
La chica ya tenia experiencia previa en sesiones de fotos y ya tenia confianza frente a la camara asi que ella misma iba haciendo las poses que mas le gustaban.
Para las siguientes fotos pusimos mas globos en el set:
At that moment, an idea came to mind to create a photo with a bit of depth, and the result was one of my favorite shots:
En ese momento se me vino una idea a la mente de hacer una foto con un poco de "profundidad" y el resultado fue de mis fotos favoritas:
For the following photos, we used number candles, and they turned out adorable:
Para las siguientes fotos utilizamos unas velas con numeros y quedaron adorables:
Then we lit the candles and placed them on top of some cupcakes for the next set of photos:
Luego encendimos las velas y las pusimos encima de unos cupcakes para hacer las siguientes fotos:
For the next photo, the client crouched down, and I placed a circular light modifier in the background and the result was very beautiful:
Para la siguiente foto la chica se agachó y yo puse un modificador de luz circular al fondo, el resultado fue muy bonito:
And for the grand finale, the client popped a confetti cannon for this photo, which turned out to be very funny:
Y para el gran final la chica explotó un cañon de confeti para hacer esta foto que resultó muy divertida:
By the end of the photoshoot, the girl was very happy with her photos. I hope you like them as much as we did!
