Traveling is my hobby and has become an addiction that keeps me addicted to it. However, no matter how simple a holiday, it definitely requires money to complete it, especially in my area, every tourist attraction must have an entrance ticket for the local regional development program. In addition, the prices of food and drinks available at these tourist attractions are slightly more expensive compared to the prices of food and drinks outside the tourist attraction area.
That's the situation that has made me not travel for the last 2 months because my money is very low due to me buying a new house this year. As a result of these large expenses, I had to really save a lot, I didn't even have a holiday budget, but I really needed a holiday for my mental health and soul, so I made the decision to travel with very minimal expenses.
My tourist destination this time is a tributary river that we accidentally came across when we wanted to walk to the peak area. There are no visitors to this river because it is only a small river, but it has very clear water and the water is cold like the water in the cupboard. ice, and because it is not a tourist attraction so there is no entrance ticket to the river. And this river was my holiday destination last week.
And to save the budget, I brought a mini stove from home, my own coffee and milk pot so I could boil water to make hot coffee there. Then I also brought rice and other provisions from home. This was a little complicated but I really enjoyed it, what was important for me was seeing the green scenery and walking around enjoying the mountain air which I didn't get at my house. And do you know how much money I spent on this holiday? The money I spent on this holiday was IDR. 20,000 or the equivalent of 1.28 U$ Dollars. And very minimal costs like this, good views, no visitors add to the charm of this tributary as my most memorable holiday.
