Acquaintance party is one of the memorable day of a 1st year college student.Being a 1st year college student is challenging since you have to adjust to the new environment and to the people.
Thankfully,our school held an acquaintance party with a sparkle theme,where we could have a time to connect with other students in the campus.
When our acquaintance is incoming, students are busy deciding for their outfits since the party's theme is sparkle, so we need to wear something sparkle or it should be a black or gray color outfits.
I am part of the schools dance troupe so,we are assigned to perform in acquaintance party were we are the welcome dance.I was busy with the practice at the same time trying to connect with my co-members.
This is it!
At last,the date that we've been waiting for arrived.Since the party is set to happened at nigth.In the morning we were having our dance rehearsal.After it we parted our ways to get ready for the party.I was in my co-dancer's house since it is the only nearest place to the events place.
We do our own makeup since we also had our makeup kit.We didn't notice the time not until one of us reminded us that we needed to be early because we still had to put our things in the back stage,so I was rushing doing my make up and I was not still finished with my hair that's why I decided to just let it down.
When we arrived at the place their are already students outside the complex and as soon as everyone has arrived the party started with a processional. When all of the dancers has entered ,we immediately headed to the backstage to change our clothes for our presentation.
During our presentation,I was overwhelmed to the people.All eyes are on us,and I cant help but to feel nervous.
This is us in backstage.We are done with our 1st performance here,we are just waiting for our last performance to be done so that we could join the students to the party.
After our performance a lot had happened,when we are back in backstage everyone is catching their breaths.One of our member are close in fainting because of lack of air and we dont have a water.Thankfully,we are fast enough to provide her an air.
The part mode is on, let's go!
Students are enjoying vibing the music and I cant help to join them.I was connecting with my co-members and having a good time together.
I also bump with my highschool friends and batch mates.We jammed together and reconnect with each other.
The party is almost done here and we cant help but to feel cold, thankfully someone lend his jacket to me.

The party lasted at 11:00 pm and so far it was one of my memorable moments in college.I've gain a lot of friends and I learned a lot throughout the party, from the preparation to the moment of acquaintance party.
