After months of lurking in the shadows, wandering through Splinterlands and listening to the whispers of Hive veterans, I finally took the plunge.
Yes, friends: Meredorn now wields ~22,000 Hive Power.
No more half-measures. I’m in.
🧭 The Path Wasn’t Easy
Understanding Hive's ecosystem felt like trying to cast a spell in an unknown language. Resource Credits? Power Up? Delegations? Bandwidth? It was a bit of a maze at first.
Luckily, some wise wizards from the Splinterlands guild and fellow HIVE travelers helped light the way. Props to you all – you know who you are.
🛠️ Here’s How I Did It – The Technical Ritual
Acquired HIVE on Binance using USDC. Smooth and efficient – just a classic spot trade.
Withdrew HIVE directly to my Hive wallet. Yes, Binance allows direct withdrawals to Hive addresses, and yes, it was surprisingly fast. (For once, centralization was useful... 😅)
Logged into Hive Keychain, hit the “Power Up” button, selected 100%…
💥 Boom: all my liquid HIVE became HP (Hive Power) – the fuel that runs the Hive engine.
🧙 So What’s Next for Meredorn?
With 22K HP in my spellbook, here’s what I’m planning:
Delegating Resource Credits (RC) to Splinterlands allies who need a hand casting their own spells (aka submitting many transactions).
Delegating HP to earn passive income while supporting projects and creators I believe in.
Opening thousands of Conclave Arcana packs 😂 without being concerned about RC.
Posting regularly on Peakd to share thoughts, updates, and nerdy reflections on Hive, Splinterlands, and my journey as an on-chain adventurer.
Still learning, still exploring.
Let’s build. Let’s grow. Let’s empower.
Meredorn is in the Hive. 💪🐝
