Cómo han pasado estos días ? , durante la semana santa pude ver unas cuantas cosas al respecto en series y películas, ya les compartí un poco de la película "el mono" la adaptación del cuento de Stephen King ,y como no era lo que esperaba , y aquí les comparto una pequeña recomendación corta , de una película bastante buena ,y que realmente disfrute bastante , está película de Novocaine protagonizada por Jack Quaid que este año ha estado dándolo todo con su increíble actuación en " companiom " en dónde protagoniza también, aquí también vuelve a protagonizar pero para una película más de acción con toques de comedia ,y muchísima ,pero muchísima tomas bizarra y algo que siento que roza el horror corporal? Jejeje no sabría cómo describirlo pero está genial y me gustó bastante, acá les dejó la sinopsis.

y ciertos coqueteos empiezan a tener una especie de relación.Al día siguiente mientras los dos están en el trabajo ocurre un asalto al banco, amenazando a todos los presentes y tomando como rehen a Cherry para escapar sin que les disparen ,y es aquí en dónde Nate toma una decisión drástica, perseguir a los delincuentes hasta rescatar a la chica.

Realmente disfrute demasiado de esta película ,me recordó a estás películas típicas dosmileras de persecuciones y robos de bancos con las que crecimos viendo en TNT o Fox , solo que aquí el plow de usar la condición genética de Nate para no sentir dolor y ponerlo como si fuera un súper héroe es genial, porque no es como Deadpool un asesino entrenado que ha vivido la vida criminal y no tiene miedo de llegar a las últimas consecuencias, sí no un tipo común y corriente que no es precisamente héroe con un súper poder, si no alguien normal aunque con algunos conocimientos de medicina debido a sus altos incidentes durante su infancia, pero usando su analgesia como su máximo apoyo y lo que hizo fue darnos unas situaciones bastante graciosas pero llenas de acción , en dónde se mide con unos criminales bastante intimidantes, las secuencia de acciones están super bien cuidadas Aunque no es sorpresa con que ya hemos visto a Jack Quaid como hughie en "The boys" (Dios The boys, cuando vuelves ? Te extraño🙃), y aquí el vemos desde como le arrancan las uñas hasta como mete la mano en una freidora y ufff sufrí en esas escenas ,pero aporta demasiado, también me pareció bastante acertada la actriz que hace a Cherry (Amber Midhunter) ,y su personaje es bastante interesante y no solo la típica manic panic crazy girls ??? Jaja, aunque el giro termina siendo un poco predecible , el ritmo de la película es entretenido, y va manteniendo interesado en todo momento. Un acierto también fue el personaje del amigo que por cierto es Jacob Batalon que hace al mismo amigo de Peter Parker en la película de Spiderman de Tom Hollan , y siempre me ha parecido un buen alivio cómico en las películas espero que sigan teniendo muchos papeles porque siempre es muy divertido.

I really enjoyed this movie too much, it reminded me of those typical 2000s chase and bank robbery movies we grew up watching on TNT or Fox, only here the use of Nate's genetic condition to not feel pain and make him look like a superhero is great, because he's not like Deadpool, a trained killer who has lived a life of crime and isn't afraid to take it to the next level, but an ordinary guy who isn't exactly a hero with a superpower, but someone normal although with some knowledge of medicine due to his high incidents during his childhood, but using his analgesia as his greatest support and what he did was give us some pretty funny but action-packed situations, where he faces off against some pretty intimidating criminals, the action sequences are super well taken care of. Although it's no surprise since we've already seen Jack Quaid as Hughie in "The Boys" (God, The Boys, when are you coming back? I miss you 🙃), and here we see from how his nails are torn off to how he puts his hand in a deep fryer and ufff I suffered in those scenes, but she contributes too much, I also thought the actress who plays Cherry (Amber Midhunter) was quite successful, and her character is quite interesting and not just the typical manic panic crazy girls ??? Haha, although the twist ends up being a bit predictable, the pace of the film is entertaining, and keeps you interested at all times. La condición de Nate ,me pareció súper interesante, me recordó mucho a un capitulo de DR. House en dónde tienen que evaluar a un niña que tiene una condición parecida ,y está se la pasa haciendose daño así misma porque no siente dolor (pero sí se daña así misma no es que se recupere rápido lo que lleva a un montón de enfermedades, y una posible solución experimental para el dolor latente de house) ,en fín el punto es que me pareció bastante interesante que lo usarán como premisa para esta película, no solo poniéndole las escenas de acción en dónde a Nate le convenía no sentir porque eso le daba toda su interpridez, pero sí no también el esfuerzo que pusieron en los pequeños detalles de la película para legitimizar está condición, como el hecho de no consumir sólidos porque de morderse la lengua y no darse cuenta podría ser súper mortal,o como que tiene que tener muchos conocimientos de medicina para curarse el mismo debido a todos estos accidentes que tenía,o hasta las alarmas para ir al baño porque al no sentir la urgencia del dolor por aguantar las ganas de orinar podría generarse un daño en el sistema urinario y renal ,y toda la rutina tan fuerte que tenía debido a su corta expectativas de vida, fue una buena forma de humanizar al personaje y no sea tan sacado del poder del guión lo de hacerse el héroe, sí no que tenía mucho sentido el hacer todo este viaje del héroe porque sí había una conexión real y un entendimiento entre ambos personajes y no solo un amor a primera vista ,ambos se sentían identificados con el otro, él por su enfermedad y las limitaciones que está conlleva, y ella con esos guiños a qué tuvo una infancia difícil ,mientras era adoptada y los problemas de su familia, la verdad me pareció una historia romántica y divertida con un aire a la película de acción dosmilera, le doy un 4,5/5⭐.
