Hello! As part of our ongoing efforts to improve both interaction and curation in the Movies and TV Shows Community, this post is one of many to highlight and boost members of the past week that have posted what we believe is exceptional content.

The Details

Each week, our Moderators will monitor the posts within the Movies and TV Shows Community and handpick the ones that are believed to stand out under numerous factors: post quality, length, and subject.

There are no entry requirements, and this is not a contest, but simply a roundup intended to provide additional exposure to all of you for your efforts. Just have fun posting in the Movies & TV Shows Community and five or more posts will be chosen frequently.

Talk to me (2022) review: make horror great again.

Image from thread

Talk To Me takes the same foundations of failures as Truth or Dare and allows us to reconnect with everything that makes these types of horror films so fascinating in the first place, ensuring that in just an hour and a half we can connect with its protagonists, we feel fascinated by the supernatural elements and we feel impacted by its brilliant ending.

La nueva Sirenita

For me the best performance was by Ursula, I laughed a lot with her way of being, when she turned upside down while making her plans and when she becomes a giant. I would have liked to see more of the bottom of the sea, more shots and more things, but in itself it was good, although it wasn't something exciting to watch.

FATHERHOOD | PATERNIDAD | NO SPOILERS REVIEW

Image from thread

Personally I think if you watch a movie a second time in a short span and you're not distracted by what's coming up or how long until it's over it's a good sign. I enjoyed "Parenthood" without feeling like I was watching it to review it for you. And I think in the age we live in it's hard to watch a simple movie on purpose, with streaming people hardly watch movies to try, a lot of people just watch recommendations or specific actors. It's kind of lost a little bit to watch a random movie that they shoot on a channel.

Castlevania (Netflix series review)

To think that a vampire can fall in love with a human could be said that it is a cliché, something common that happens in the books, but I consider that we are in the origin of this species and fiction story, that is to say, it is Dracula, I think he was the first to experience that in our comics.

My opinion about the movie: Madagascar

Image from thread

The plot, though simple, is very effective. The story follows these animals who escape from the Central Park Zoo in search of freedom and end up stranded on the island of Madagascar. Throughout their adventure, they explore themes of friendship and discover their true nature. It's a powerful message for little ones, and for adults as well. Sometimes, we all need a little bit of craziness to remember who we really are.

An updated monster - Review: Come Play | 2020

Image from thread

I want to start my opinion talking directly about the story, personally I find it quite original, although I do not know if there is any other film with a similar theme, but to my way of seeing it, in this film it is interesting how they combine the devices as a bridge between one world and another, so that added to an interesting story of how everything developed and the conclusion of it, makes me think that the story is very entertaining and I really liked it, although at some point it became a little predictable, but nothing that ruins the experience.

Lo Mejor Que Verás en Netflix Este Año: Review "Libreta Negra"

Image from thread

This story shows us the economic inequalities in several poor countries, where a corrupt police force is established, where the mafia exercises great power over a country, where we are silenced as journalists for fear of being murdered, where crimes are committed and go unpunished without much investigation other than repeating what the group in power wants. I am talking about what I think of the plot of this film, everything that resembles reality is mere coincidence.

Bad Boys for Life (Review)

Image from thread

The best of all is the presence of two great actors in the world of a hundred, each of whom are the best and have remained together in this sequence such as Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, being the perfect team to recreate and carry this action to the next level, which each one has a different personality and a different way of seeing things, before those dangerous situations where the smallest detail that occurs can affect a lot. Beyond those, they are always there at all times and little by little they manage to discover that great threat to the country, the good thing is that they always maintain that great humor of comedy and action throughout its development.

Mi opinión acerca de Hynotic

However, as the story progresses, the plot changes and takes a sci-fi twist (which is referenced in the description, but I had completely forgotten about it). So this twist came as quite a surprise to me.

"Jobs" by Joshua Michael Stern: The Rise, Fall, and Return of Steve Jobs

Image from thread

All in all, I like the script of the movie, the scenes, and the acting. I think it perfectly captures some of the most important events of the humble beginning of Apple from a garage to the departure of Steve Jobs and his eventual return to the company. But to be honest I was actually looking for more when I knew that the field had just ended after Steve Jobs booted out the board of the company and therefore took control of the company from then on. I would have loved to see in the movie the launch of the first iPhone but it wasn't included in the film. But it doesn't take from the movie that it is great that is a must-watch for those who love biography films.
