A falta de disputar dos encuentros para completar las 38 jornadas que conforman una temporada en La Liga, el FC Barcelona se proclamó Campeón de dicho torneo por vigésima octava ocasión en sus 125 años de historia; en un encuentro muy disputado contra su vecino rival, el RCD Espanyol, el Barça obtuvo su victoria número 27 en la temporada 2024-2025 para así completar el llamado "Triplete Doméstico", el cual está conformado por la Supercopa de España y la Copa del Rey lo cual hizo tornar de Azulgrana a todo el fútbol español.
