Healthy meal beans and yam with oil bean (ugba)

Warm greetings to everyone here, and happy Sunday my great people and my fellow lovers of food I greet you all.
I welcome you all into my blog once again and to share my recipe with you all.

Today I made something different for Sunday everyone is expecting rice as usual but I decided to make a different by prepare beans and yam with oil bean (ugba).
Oil bean is a plant that can be used to prepare so many things and very enjoyable when you combine oil bean in any of your meal.
This is my first time preparing my beans and yam with oil bean and it turns out real good.
Let's go on the ingredients i used in making my beans and yam with oil bean.

INGREDIENTS USED
3 cups of beans
1 tube of yam
1/4 paint of oil bean
1/2 cup of red oil
2 medium Onion
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon of dry Pepper
Water.

PROCEDURE
Here is the process I used in making my delicious meal.
I will first select my beans by removing the spoilt ones and the chaff.
In a clean pot I will parboil my beans by putting them into my pot add water and cook I will cook for some minutes and now bring it down and wash.

While waiting for my beans to boil a little I will get my ingredients ready by peeling and washing my yam, and my onions.

Here my ingredients are ready
After washing my beans I will now put back into my pot add water and cook I will cook till my beans is about to get done I will now add my yam add water if needed.

I will allow my beans and yam to get soft I will now add my ingredients by putting salt first, put my onions ,and my pepper and my red oil stir very well.

I will now add my oil bean and stir.
Here my food is ready.
