La casa de la capitulación fue fabricasa en el año XVIII, es la casa más antigua de Maracaibo se dice de las primeras fábricas este lugar tiene una gran incidencia histórica, puesto que aquí fue en donde se firmó el tratado de la de la capitulación qué sé yo la Gran Batalla de la independencia por medio de la de la Batalla Naval del Lago de Maracaibo, dejándonos totalmente libres del yugo español esta casa tiene un estilo arquitectónico, totalmente clásico y antiguo marcado por la era colonial donde aún mantiene ese estilo de la época techos en alturas de madera de cedro, ventanales gigantes de madera, así como también puertas que se abren de dos formas.

Justamente cuando tuve el gusto de visitar este lugar hace aproximadamente casi tres años atrás, no se encontraba como está ahora ahora está mucho mejor ya que me sorprendí porque al entrar al primer salón a mano derecha, pude percatarme de que en todas las instalaciones de la casa de la capitulación donde se encuentran los salones, existe ahora aire acondicionado al entrar a este salón podemos encontrar mesas en la época clóset así como también fotografía de todos esos próceres importantes, que fueron protagonistas en esta Batalla Naval del lago, cabe destacar que no solamente habían próceres venezolanos sino también colombianos, que formaban parte de la gran Colombia en este salón también se puede evidenciar toda la ropa antigua que se usa en la época.

Así como también se encuentra la copia del tratado de la capitulación que selló la independencia de Venezuela, ante el yugo español por medio de la victoria Naval del lago, en esta casa colonial también se esconde grande historia ya que por aquí también pasó nuestro héroe de la independencia como lo es Simón Bolívar, él también estuvo en el interior de esta de esta vivienda por lo que hiciste un salón que también busca rendir un tributo especial a él, este es el segundo salón aquí podemos encontrar diferentes tipos de retratos de Simón Bolívar, así como también su firma qué lindo que este lugar histórico pueda homenajear su gran historia, sabes esta carga a lo largo de la gran casona puedes observar sus hermosos candelabros gigantescos que se encuentran en el techo.

Luego de salir del segundo salón puedes encontrar una sala de proyecciones donde colocan videos ilustrativos, que buscan explicar todo lo que ocurrió en La Batalla Naval del Lago y la relación que tiene la casa con la misma, así como también toda la historia de la casa el lugar se dice que en esta casa ocurre actividad paranormal, ya que aparece el espíritu de una mujer que tenía labores de hogar en esta casa qué fue justamente asesinada aquí, se dice que su espíritu vaga por la casa cierra, las puertas e incluso espantas personas, el guía nos manifestó que gracias a Dios en todo el tiempo que lleva trabajando en este lugar nunca le han asustado pero este lugar sí se encuentra lleno de mucha energía debido a su antiguedad.

En el lugar existe un pozo que este tiene profundidad este busca llenarse justamente con el agua de la lluvia en la época era usado para realizar funciones elementales que ayudarán en el mantenimiento de la casa, este pozo alcanzaba justamente a llenar toda su profundidad por medio del agua de la lluvia, ahora bien cómo hacían para poder filtrar esta agua y agarrarla para el consumo humano había un jarrón especial que lo evidenciamos en las fotos anteriores en la parte superior contaba con una piedra aquí colocaban el agua esta piedra la filtraba y caía en la tinaja, totalmente limpia, purificada me encantó lo hermoso que se ve este pozo, las piedras antiguas iniciales con la que fue fabricada la casa y el pozo.

En la época de la conquista colonial cuando Maracaibo se encontraba invadido de los españoles la ciudad tenía diversos tipos de túneles y pasadizos que están permitían conectar a las personas desde su lugar hasta otro lugar, es importante en la ciudad de Maracaibo la casa de la capitulación no podría ser la excepción, ya que tenía túneles que estos iban hasta el Palacio de Gobierno así como también esto era un medio de transporte, en el cual evitaba que los españoles pudieran encontrar estas personas en esta casa se encuentran los túneles totalmente sellados en la actualidad ningún túnel está abierto todos se encuentran sellados.

En la casa existe una pequeña capilla ya que en las casas de la época, siempre había un lugar especial para reencontrarse con Dios, todas estas casas tenían una pequeña capilla y actualmente esta casa también posee su capilla en la que podemos observar su gran sencillez la imagen de Cristo, un reclinatorio en el centro diversos cuadros así como también sillas en donde las personas pueden sentarse e incluso celebrar la Santa Eucaristía, en esta capilla también existen multiples candelabros que la hacen totalmente mucho mas hermosa.

Por ultimo para finalizar puedes observar la gran belleza del lugar en la entrada se encuentran piedras que permitía que el caballo tuviera estabilidad para entrar y que este no cayera, por eso todas las estructuras de estas casas poseen estas piedras, en la entrada de la casa hay una hermosa galeria fotográfica de lugares emblemáticos de la ciudad de Maracaibo en la antigüedad, también le tome fotografias a la casa en la parte de afuera es un lugar bastante hermoso e historico que espero que tengan el gusto de visitar.
