Good morning friends, sorry for my absence yesterday but I was running errands and I also took the opportunity to visit a very nice town called Agliana, I had already been there but yesterday I had the opportunity to delve deeper into the visit and also visit the beautiful church from the inside! Agliana is a town in the province of Pistoia, the road to get there is very beautiful, it is a classic town in the Pistoia plain with typical colored houses, some really pretty, it is a quiet town with tree-lined streets with little traffic, surrounded by countryside and fields, a simple place perfect for families. As soon as we arrived in Agliana we parked and then took a pleasant walk towards the center enjoying the quiet streets and the view of the houses.
Agliana is also a town of passage because from here you can quickly reach Prato, Florence and Pistoia. During our walk towards the center I also photographed the details of some houses, I would like to live here but I think it is a very expensive area. Also because in addition to the countryside it is also surrounded by various streams such as the Brana and the Bure which make the territory very rich for farmers. Agliana is a beautiful little place there are also many activities, arriving in the center we found ourselves in the main square surmounted by the church. A beautiful very spacious square with a fountain in the middle unfortunately empty, too bad because if it had been full and gushing it would have been very beautiful.
Buenos días amigos, disculpad mi ausencia ayer pero estuve haciendo recados y también aproveché para visitar un pueblo muy bonito que se llama Agliana. Ya había estado allí pero ayer tuve la oportunidad de profundizar en la visita y también visitar la preciosa iglesia por dentro! Agliana es un municipio de la provincia de Pistoia, el camino para llegar es muy bonito, es un pueblo clásico de la llanura de Pistoia con las típicas casas de colores, algunas realmente bonitas, es un pueblo tranquilo con calles arboladas y con poco tráfico, rodeado de campo y campos, un lugar sencillo perfecto para familias. Nada más llegar a Agliana aparcamos y luego dimos un agradable paseo hacia el centro disfrutando de las tranquilas calles y de la vista de las casas.
Agliana es también una ciudad de paso porque desde aquí se puede llegar rápidamente a Prato, Florencia y Pistoia. Durante nuestro paseo hacia el centro también fotografié los detalles de algunas casas, me gustaría vivir aquí pero creo que es una zona muy cara. Además del campo también está rodeado de diversos arroyos como el Brana y el Bure que hacen que el territorio sea muy rico para los agricultores. Agliana es un lugar muy agradable, también hay muchas actividades, al llegar al centro nos encontramos en la plaza principal coronada por la iglesia. Una plaza preciosa, muy espaciosa, con una fuente en el centro que lamentablemente está vacía, una pena porque si hubiera estado llena y brotando habría sido muy bonita.
Luckily, however, we found the church in the center of the square open and we decided to visit it, the church is like all Italian churches dedicated to a saint in this case San Piero, this is one of the main churches in the town, in fact it has various mass times and is the church chosen for the main celebrations, the church was built before the Middle Ages and over the years it has been rearranged and restored several times, it has a classic facade with statues of the saints watching over the square and also has a bell tower which unfortunately cannot be visited. When you enter this church you are immediately struck by its beauty, if we raise our eyes up we immediately see a beautiful painted ceiling with frescoes and decorations, but the rest of the church is also beautiful with marble columns, a fascinating pulpit, various niches with magnificent frescoes, statues and icons. It is a church truly rich in art, architecture and sculpture, very beautiful to visit. It was a nice visit and I really liked Agliana in its simplicity, I would like to visit the other churches in this town soon.
I think Agliana has many things to visit besides the city center, the countryside or the areas near the streams are certainly beautiful. Anyway, it was a pleasant day and I really liked the church, I confess that even though I am not a believer, I love churches and religious art ah ah ah. Por suerte encontramos la iglesia en el centro de la plaza abierta y decidimos visitarla, la iglesia es como todas las iglesias italianas dedicadas a un santo en este caso San Piero, esta es una de las principales iglesias del pueblo, de hecho tiene varios horarios de misa y es la iglesia elegida para las principales celebraciones, la iglesia fue construida antes de la Edad Media y con el paso de los años ha sido reorganizada y restaurada varias veces, tiene una fachada clásica con estatuas de los santos vigilando la plaza y también tiene un campanario que lamentablemente no se puede visitar. Cuando entras en esta iglesia quedaste inmediatamente impresionado por su belleza, si levantamos la vista inmediatamente vemos un hermoso techo pintado con frescos y decoraciones, pero el resto de la iglesia también es hermoso con columnas de mármol, un fascinante púlpito, varios nichos con magníficos frescos, estatuas e iconos. Es una iglesia realmente rica en arte, arquitectura y escultura, muy hermosa para visitar. Fue una visita agradable y me gustó mucho Agliana en su sencillez, me gustaría visitar pronto las demás iglesias de este pueblo.
Pienso que Agliana tiene muchas cosas para visitar además del centro de la ciudad, el campo o las zonas cercanas a los arroyos son ciertamente hermosas también. En fin fue un día agradable y me gustó mucho la iglesia, confieso que aunque no soy creyente me encantan las iglesias y el arte religioso ah ah ah.
