Today I will prepare another simple vegan-based snack, this snack I processed by frying. It's made from pumpkin, which I rarely use as a fried snack. Usually I make it into soup, sweet cakes or even make it into porridge. Well this time I will prepare it in a different way. That is as a crunchy snack with a soft inside.

Cekodok is a fried snack with a round shape in my area. There are various variations of this snack, but making it from pumpkin is much more delicious in my opinion. The cekodok snack that I prepared is made from steamed pumpkin and then stirred with flour and the addition of grated coconut to increase the savory taste of the snack.

Now of course the process of frying can be replaced by using an airfryer, or you can even prepare it by grilling it. But because I usually process it by frying, I think it tastes better. Still, it all depends on your taste. Here I will invite you to prepare step by step in preparation!.

200 gram pumpkin
50 grams of grated coconut
100 grams rice flour
1 tablespoon paired sugar
1 teaspoon salt

Step 1

Now beforehand I have prepared the whole pumpkin by steaming it first, here steam the pumpkin until it is completely soft so that the cekodok is soft and soft.

Cekodok pumkin is ready to enjoy, serve with chocolate sauce or creamer, well because I prefer the original I immediately enjoy it like this. It tastes very good sweet savory and crispy on the outside. And you need to know that it would be nice to enjoy it hot again ahh the taste is even more tempting. For those of you who are used to living in winter, this ceilan is perfect to accompany you to coffee or ngeteh with your family.

A simple and easy recipe, right? Just look at how evenly cooked the inside is and how tempting the texture is. The combination of pumpkin, grated coconut and rice flour gives the best flavor. I highly recommend you make this snack at home.
