I hope you are all doing well. I am doing well, thank God. After a day off since my last post, we are back with some very important news, which I will tell you about now: one of my best friends got married!
That's right, and it's one of the reasons I haven't been able to post any content, because apart from returning to the city on Friday, on Saturday the 28th I attended the church wedding of my friend Katherinee, or Katy as we know her, and of course I wasn't going to miss this very important moment in her life. So on Friday, June 27, I was already in the city to be there with her the next day.
On Saturday, I got up early and went out to run some errands because I knew I had this commitment in the afternoon. Of course, I went with my group of psychology friends, now graduates 💜. We agreed to meet at one of their houses and leave from there for the wedding. It was quite promising, because not only did I realize that I do indeed have potential when I have a car to rush everyone around in, hahaha, but also my friend's dad lent me his tie and it looks pretty good on me, so I've decided to buy more in the future.
We left for the wedding late, even though they want to deny it, since it was at 4 p.m. and we arrived at 5:30 p.m., but it hadn't started yet, thank God, ha ha ha. We arrived just in time for the ceremony. The venue is a party venue, and I thought it was very nice for this type of event, as well as for others, such as quinceañeras, baptisms, birthdays, graduation parties, etc. It was truly idyllic.
The venue is located in Cabudare, which is the only downside. We had our table reserved at number 9, but we didn't have much time to sit down because the ceremony began with the arrival of the groomsmen and bridesmaids. However, there was one drawback, and that is the weather during these months, which is hot from early in the morning but with heavy rain in the afternoon, and in fact, it didn't take long to start raining.
The bride and groom's entrance was quite beautiful, ceremonial, and formal, but very moving. Once the bride was given away by her father, a brief sermon began, explaining the meaning of marriage. However, it was interrupted by the rain that could be heard in the distance. Fortunately, there was a plan B, and the ceremony continued under the roof of the venue without any problems.
I'm not going to lie to you, I cried at the ceremony. I had many mixed emotions, first because the last wedding I attended was my sister's in 2023. It was the happiest day of her life, and I was with her every step of the way, only for that to vanish in 2024. I can't remember that moment without feeling sad. Now, seeing my friend achieve that goal and find a new one, of course I'm overwhelmed with emotions, but this time it's joy.
On the other hand, because I'm someone who appreciates their friends, I love it when they achieve their goals, as long as they're happy with what they do, and they've been considerate enough to have me there with them, that makes me very happy. Once the rings were exchanged and the vows were said, you could feel everyone's excitement for the bride and groom, and the happiness spread to everyone there.
After that, it was a moment of waiting to take photos at each location, which were very beautiful, but I'll share those in a more specific post on Liketu haha. After we managed to take our photos, we were able to find the bride and talk to her about everything that had happened and how she was feeling. Our friend was very happy, and of course we took the opportunity to take a group photo with them, and an iconic photo that one of us suggested of one of us carrying the bride and the rest of us resisting, haha.
In the middle of the night, between cocktails, water, and soda, there was a dinner prepared for the guests, which was perfect because I was very hungry, haha. The appetizers were tasty but limited. And after that came the bride and groom's presentation dance, which I can only say was spectacular. As someone who dances, I give that choreography a 10/10.
Is there more? Of course, but that's for the hora loca, and there are more videos than photos, ha ha ha, but it was pretty cool. The entertainer really shone there, getting everyone moving, singing old songs and old reggaeton too, so it was something to remember the next day or that night when we arrived, ha ha ha.

Espero se encuentren muy bien, yo bien gracias a Dios, después de una jornada de descanso desde mi último post, estamos de vuelta, con un acontecimiento muy importante, que les voy a relatar a continuación, una de mis mejores amigas se casó!!
Así es, y es una de las cosas que no he podido subir contenido, ya que aparte de regresar a la ciudad el viernes, el sábado 28 asistí a la boda eclesiástica de mi amiga Katherinee, o como la conocemos nosotros como Katy, y por supuesto que no me iba a perder este momento importantísimo para su vida. Así que ya el viernes 27 de Junio estaba en la ciudad para el día siguiente estar allí acompañándola.
El día sábado estaba levantado desde temprano, salí a hacer mis diligencias porque sabía que en la tarde tenía este compromiso. Con quienes asistí por supuesto, el grupete de psicología ya ahora licenciados 💜 cuadramos en quedarnos en la cada de una, y de allí partir al encuentro. Fue bastante prometedor, ya que no solo me di cuenta que efectivamente tengo potencial cuando tenga carro apurar a todas jajajaja sino que además el papá de mi amiga me prestó su corbata y se me ve bastante bien, así que he decidido comprar más, en adelante.
Rumbo allí partimos a la boda, tarde, aunque ellas lo quieran negar, ya que era a las 4pm y llegamos a las 5:30pm, pero no había empezado, gracias a Dios jajaja. Llegamos justo a tiempo a la ceremonia. El lugar es un sitio de festejos, me pareció muy lindo tanto para este tipo de eventos, como para otros, como quince años, bautizos, cumpleaños, fiesta de promociones etc… de verdad todo muy idílico.
El sitio está ubicado en Cabudare, es el único detalle. Teníamos nuestra mesa reservada en la número 9 sin embargo el tiempo de sentarse no era mucho ya que empezó la ceremonia con la llegada de los hombres y damas de honor. Sin embargo había algo en contra, y es el clima en estos meses, que desde muy temprano hay clima cálido, pero en la tarde una lluvia enorme, y de hecho no se hizo esperar.
La entrega de la novia y el novio fue bastante bonita, ceremonial y protocolar, pero muy conmovedora, una vez entregada la novia de parte del papa, comienza una breve prédica, con el significado del matrimonio, sin embargo, es interrumpida por la misma lluvia que desde lejos se escuchaba, pero hubo un plan B y se continuó la ceremonia en el techado del sitio, sin problemas.
No les voy a mentir, llore en la ceremonia, tenía muchas emociones encontradas, primero porque en la última boda que asistí fue a la de mi hermana en el 2023, fue el día más feliz de su vida, la cual la acompañe en todo momento, y solo para que en el 2024 eso se esfumara, y no puedo recordar ese momento sin ponerme triste, y ahora ver a mi amiga cumplir esa meta y encontrar una nueva, por supuesto que me encuentro en mar de emociones, pero esta vez nuevamente de alegría.
Y por otro lado, porque soy alguien que con sus amigos que aprecia, le encanta cuando cumplen sus metas, mientras sean felices con lo que hagan, y hayan tenido la consideración de que yo esté allí con ellos, eso me pone muy contento. Una vez colocados los anillos, y dichos su votos, se podía sentir la emoción de todos por los novios, y la felicidad contagiada por todos allí.
Después de allí, fue un momento entre esperas para poder tomarse fotos entre cada sitio del lugar, las cuales estaban muy bonitas, pero eso ya se los compartiré en una publicación más específica en Liketu jaja. Después de lograr tomar nuestras fotos, pudimos encontrar a la novia y poder hablar con ella de todo lo que había sucedido y de cómo se sentía, estaba muy feliz nuestra amiga, por supuesto aprovechamos la oportunidad de tomarnos la foto grupal con ellos, y una foto icónica que sugiero uno de nosotros de uno llevándose a la novia y nosotros oponiéndonos jajaja.
En medio de la noche, entre bebidas con cócteles, agua y refresco, hubo una cena que nos tenían preparados para los invitados, lo cual cayó perfecto que tenía mucha hambre jajaja los pasapalos estaban sabrosos pero limitados. Y luego de eso vino el baile de presentación de los novios, el cual solo puedo decir que la rompieron, fue espectacular y como alguien que baila, les doy un 10/10 a esa coreografía.

Por supuesto, pero eso ya queda para la hora loca, y son más vídeos que fotos jajaj pero si fue algo bastante chévere, el animador de lució allí, puso a mover a todos, a cantar canciones viejas y reggaeton del viejo también, así que fue algo para rememorar después al día siguiente o en la noche cuando llegamos jajaja.
Y bueno mis lectores, está fue nuestra aventura en la boda de nuestra amiga, la pasamos muy bien, y fue nuestra primera salida grupal, fuera de la universidad, una vida comenzando como ya profesionales y vidas que empiezan a cambiar.
