…and it’s always a pleasure to drive around in the rural areas.

Not so far away from the towns and the big city, but far enough to have almost total quiet.

There is song lyrics that states that you can’t always get what you want, and it happens to most of us. But we have learned to be satisfied with the second best, as we get what was meant for us. Second best is not always ideal, but at least in second best one has something rather than nothing. I am talking here about peace and quiet, as that is something valuable that we prefer. No noise, such as the screaming of ambulance and police car sirens, heavy trucks passing by with the sound of loud airbrakes and rather the song of nature in our ears. One can have this in the countryside, but things have become so expensive that we are thankful for only having our small house in the town. A dream is to have a small cottage near a big dam on a farm, and some mountains, far away from civilisation.
Come and drive with us.

We have visited this area before, as there is a nice restaurant called the Copper Kettle close by. We have had some great Cafe Latte coffees at the restaurant at our first visit, and this past Sunday we had a nice meal there. So great to see that there are minimal, and almost inconspicuous changes to the countryside. I think that we visited in a different season, but things remain very much the same. Farming is a long-term business, very much the same as crypto, as only over many years can one see the benefits. Another similarity to crypto is that one has to have skin in the game, as nothing between farming and crypto involves getting rich quickly.

I have posted the Copper Kettle restaurant about a year or two before, and all of the photos in this post were taken on Sunday 05/25.

I read a great crypto promotional article this morning, and I bookmarked it for future reference. It carefully explained the benefits of crypto, and how it will eventually encompass all of the financial systems in the world. The article is hosted on a site called StarsInsider, and it is a great and positive read about crypto. To get back to the photos in this post, whenever we see things like this, it inspires the peace in our hearts. One almost gets a feeling that life is what it was supposed to be, as mankind is supposed to work, play, eat, and sleep, but not so anymore as the money god rules. The continual search for profits has resulted in many destroyed ecosystems, and sadly the wildlife and flora have to pay for it. Forests are cut down to make place for farming and residential developments. Be that as it may, wetlands that are very important water filters in nature are dried up so that developments can be built on them. But this is just one of my concerns, and I did not intend to moan a bit in this post, as I wanted to reflect peace and harmony.
Such is life.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures and the story.
