Nejen místní park Michalov, ale i náměstí a ulice zaplní účinkující v tradičních krojích, hudebníci a tanečníci, návštěvníci z celého regionu i blízkého zahraničí. Takové akce nejsou pouhou přehlídkou – je to živá historie, symbolizující národní hrdost a kontinuitu naší moravské kultury.
What truly grabs your attention are the gorgeous regional costumes. The colors are vibrant, the embroidery is incredibly detailed, and there are handmade lace, shiny ribbons, and carefully tied scarves everywhere you look. Not only does each region have its own unique patterns and color combinations—often every village puts its own twist on the traditional look.
Snad největší pozornost poutají překrásné regionální kroje. jejich barevnost, detailní výšivky, ručně paličkované krajky, lesklé pentle a pečlivě vázané šátky. Nejen každý kraj nebo region, ale prakticky každá obec své specifické vzory a barevná schémata.
If you look at it from a different perspective, folk traditions actually carry over into modern times. Don’t those studded vests worn by folk musicians remind you a bit of bikers or punk rockers? And really, who says a girl in a traditional folk costume can’t have a piercing and bold, color hair and extravagant nails?
Když se na to podíváme z jiného úhlu, tak lidové tradice mají přesah i do současnosti. Nepřipomínají vám ocvočkované vestičky lidových muzikantů motorkáře nebo pankáče? A proč by děvče v tradičním lidovém kroji nemohlo mít piercing, barevné vlasy a extravagantní nehty?
