Wishing a very good day to all my dear friends!
There’s something truly nostalgic about traditional sweets that bring back memories of festive seasons, relaxing evenings, and joyful tea times. One such delightful experience is Boondi — light, crispy, golden pearls soaked in fragrant syrup. Before diving into the process of preparing this beloved treat at home, take a moment to appreciate how such a flavorful creation can be made with just a few simple ingredients.

Some coconut oil.
1 1/2 teaspoon of Lime juice.
Two colors of food coloring.

The cooking process as follows.

First, add some wheat flour into a bowl and mix in a little yeast. Add a pinch of salt and combine well. Gradually add water while mixing until you get a batter with a slightly thick consistency.

Then, divide the batter into two separate cups. Add a drop of food coloring to each and mix well. Cover and let them rest for about 15 minutes.

Next, place a pan on the stove and add some sugar, allowing it to melt and caramelize slightly. Once the sugar begins to dissolve, add about 150ml of water and continue mixing. Then, add some lime juice and mix well. Remove the syrup mixture from the stove.

Next, take two piping bags and fill each one with the two different types of prepared batter. Then, place a pan on the stove and add coconut oil, allowing it to heat up. Once the oil is hot, pipe the batter into the oil in the desired shapes (as shown in the pictures), and fry until golden brown.

Finally, soak the fried Boondi sweets in the sugar syrup mixture. Once they are well coated, remove them and set aside. They are now ready to be served and enjoyed.
